Death toll in this country far worse than has been reported.
This should be in front of a paywall. If not, the gist is that beyond the deaths attributed to the coronavirus, a lot more people have been dying than would otherwise be expected. It appears to be a combination of unrecognized virus deaths and deaths from other causes that would have received medical intervention without the load on the hospitals and the fear of seeking help.

This story reminded me of a comment Dr. Tabor posted recently suggesting that UV light might be introduced into the lungs to treat respiratory infection. Aytu BioScience appears to be a real company that is developing that very concept.
Separately, I was fascinated to come across a Wikipedia article on blood irradiation therapy. Apparently, intravenous irradiation is a real thing. The procedure, however, is not proved and remains controversial.

I have seen ads for home UV devices that purport to decontaminate. They are not cheap, but apparently ineffective. Except for generating profit. Gotta tap into some of that stimulus money, you know.
COVID, strokes and younger patients: another twist in the virus saga.
Apparently there is increasing evidence that COVID19 is more than just a respiratory illness. Blood clots had been detected earlier, but now people are having strokes at a young age. And fast after onset of the illness.
