“Why?”  “Because it fits the models better than the actual measurements,”

“Why is that?” “Because we used the models to make the revisions.””

Scientific evidence shows an increase in sea level, combined with subsidence, rise for the region to be anywhere from 15-24 inches.

5 years ago, end of the century estimates were a foot. Now we are talking mid-Century and a foot-and-a-half to 2 feet.

A good basis to remain in the RGGI to help pay for resiliency projects because, as one oceanographer said, “We aren’t holding back the tides.”

President Biden reverses the federal government’s overreach under Trump. States are once again able to set their own vehicle emission standards. “Conservatives” SHOULD” applaud but I will not hold my breath waiting for that to happen.

The company chose to settle rather than allow discovery of internal documents on how they marketed their assault weapons. What does that tell you about how they marketed those weapons?

The answer – given the large settlement despite the laws shielding them – is pretty clear. Irresponsibly. That’s how.

The MSM will squeal and deflect, but sooner or later they’re going to have to report on this. Trump was spied on by the Clinton campaign, before and after the election, and even while in office for the purpose of creating a false narrative of collusion with Russia.

This not only lead to false allegations against Trump, but weighed heavily on the 2018 mid-term elections.

Having established (in another thread) that some anthropologists trace the economic concept of property to the naturalistic idea of “owning” another person, I’d like to explore some implications.
