Great reporting by WSJ. If these volunteers were like our “militias”, the invasion would have been a cakewalk. So far, the Russians have paid a heavy price and I suspect there will be more to come. Especially since Russians are targeting apartments and medical centers. Even Russian infiltrators are being ID’d and killed. And Germany has shifted position and will send arms and aid. As has Finland.

People’s Convoy hits 8 miles long as vehicles join up
I have mixed feelings about the People’s Convoy. I am certainly in favor of political action on behalf of freedom. But I also doubt that anything useful will come of this protest.
I’ll be watching the counternarrative. How will the truckers be criticized? Will they be called terrorists and traitors?

Thirteenth Amendment
I have taken some heat lately for proposing that white servitude in colonial America was comparable to black slavery. The demonstrable fact that black “slavery” prior to 1700 was indistinguishable from white “slavery” of the period doesn’t dissuade my critics. Perhaps, though, some contemplation of the Thirteenth Amendment will.
