Last week the MSM was full of reports that a Capitol Hill rioter who was arrested had a fully assembled Lego Capitol model seized in his home as proof of a carefully planned attack.

This week the FBI admitted the toy had not even been taken from the box.

As stupid as that is, it is stupider still to think a Lego toy has sufficient internal detail to be of any use in attacking the building.

Dutch technology strikes again. I think we rejected their expertise for engineering flood abatement after Katrina. (What do they know about flooding, eh?) This seems like it might catch on. Will construction workers join coal miners? Truck drivers?

Technology replaces labor regularly. Wages have little to do with that since most robotics will be less costly than even low wages. Probably even slaves since you do have feed them and rest them every now and then. Perhaps we need to consider an economy with much fewer jobs and how people will feed, clothe, educate themselves and stay healthy without the standard of compensation for labor.

This story from an obscure web site intrigued me enough to run some searches in my favorite search engine. The results pretty much validate the factual outline. The regular attendees since 1983 are indeed tech, media and investment moguls, plus senior federal officials, including from the intelligence community.

Whether the conference is just a “summer camp for billionaires” — as it is billed — or something more conspiratorial is hard to say. The conference event is widely reported, but the activities are not.

Being, however, inclined to conspiratorial speculation I note that the Allen & Company Sun Valley Conference would be an ideal venue for coordinating private-company censorship and propaganda strategies to align with government (or deep state) interests.
