In a recent Forum thread on abortion, the question of Jewish beliefs about abortion came up. Is this Libertarian heaven?
People fending for themselves seems great…until it isn’t. Ok, this isn’t necessarily Ayn Rand paradise, but it is a rural area where everyone knows everyone else, works hard and mind their own business. No urban elites, or “rootless cosmopolitans” to poison the American rugged individualism. Everyone is armed. Including the mass murderer 6 years ago. Apparently, security costs more thieving tax money than people are willing to pay. So the cost is manifested in other ways.

Same play, different stage. Create a fake separatist movement and attack later. Look on the map, Moldova is on the doorstep of NATO. It has no border with Russia. Russia cut gas to them and we have been keeping Moldova with enough to get through a fortunately mild winter. Georgia, Chechnya, Ukraine and now Moldova. Fool me once, twice, three, now four times…at some point we need to realize this is war on Europe from a delusional megalomaniac.

It’s just one poll, but I think people are starting to figure it out. Climate Alarmism is really a vehicle to gain control and wealth, just like any other religion.
It has all the hallmarks of a religion, sin, confession, penance(in the form of suffering by the little people) and redemption, so it’s OK to fly around in your private jet.
Textbook example of anti-regulatory fervor for profit.
There is plenty of evidence that developers and contractors cut corners with the approval of Erdoğan to “speed” housing for votes. That is, “regulations, schmegulations, just build”. And maybe shovel a little cash to selected folks at the top. Government just gets in the way, anyway.

I think that geopolitical forces are arrayed against the U.S. in such a way that we must rethink our support for the war in Ukraine. Simply put: If the U.S. doesn’t stop the war in Ukraine, China will. It would be best if the U.S. ended the war.

The conflict between the leader of the Wagner Group and the Russian Ministry of Defense has bubbled into public view with extremely serious accusations flowing in every direction. And, as this article points out, other Russian oligarchs are preparing themselves with their own private armies should they have to go to the mattresses – a deliberate Mafia reference because these are gangsters we are talking about. What a country!

Fascism Never Ends Well
Just as Putin has accomplished something no one else could get done – re-vitalizing NATO, so too has Israeli Wannabe Dictator Netanyahu achieved the formerly impossible – Getting Iran and Saudi Arabia moving towards better relations.
But, beyond that, his efforts to solidify is authoritarian control are carrying Israel towards disaster.
