Second Ferguson investigation yields no charges

NPR No charges for 2nd time

If you remember, Michael Brown was shot and killed by officer Daryl Wilson in Ferguson, MO, in 2014, effectively starting the Black Lives Matter protests.

The former prosecutor took the case to a grand jury, which did not indict Wilson, because while Brown’s hands were up, he was also charging toward the officer.

A new prosecutor, Wesley Bell, who replaced the former in a Democratic Primary based largely on the failure to secure an indictment, reopened the investigation, and while he hedged his comments,  also declined to prosecute.

BLM is not amused.

It’s really going to hit the fan when Chauvin is found not guilty in George Floyd’s death.

Northam sucks at threat assessment

None dare call it a riot

When tens of thousands of 2nd Amendment supporters went to Richmond, no windows were broken, no arson was committed, no one was harmed or threatened, and we didn’t leave behind so much as a gum wrapper, but Northam declared an emergency, closed streets and parking, and even had snipers on the rooftops.

But not a bit of State preparation for the destruction, arson, and attacks on the Richmond police.

Apparently Northam doesn’t understand the difference between a protest and a riot.

Damn Yankees

NY and others block travel from VA

There’s a reason I was 14 before I knew Damn and Yankees were separate words.

If you remember when COVID was surging in New York and Florida’s governor suggested quarantining those coming to FL from NY, and Coumo had a fit. Now if you go to NY, CT or NJ you will be questioned and quarantined. So, it was OK, and hateful of us if we objected to New Yorkers fled to the heartland, carrying the plague with them, but now they want to pull up the drawbridge.

Not that I would go to NY any more than I would go to the sewer, but the nerve!
