Two men blew up a federal building in Oklahoma. 20 men took down the WTC and damaged the Pentagon. A few dozen attacked the consulate in Benghazi. A few thousand assaulted the Capitol, hundreds armed in tactical gear entered with the sole purpose of overturning an election. Question: which terror attack is being ignored? Or reinvented as an open house for “tourists”. Hint: a morally bereft Senator from KY (or using “KY”😇) wanted to scrub an investigation as a “favor” to him. (Or more correctly, a favor to “Him”, the Holy Golden Golfing Buddha.)

Republican effort to lower drug prices: let Canada decide.
Here is the 3 card Monte in drugs by the GOP: since there is no real market driven price control on pharmaceuticals and we won’t let Medicare negotiate prices, let’s legalize imports from Canada. Sounds cool , huh? Here is the irony, or hypocrisy, however. Canada’s drug prices are capped by the government. So it is ok for the US to lower our prices by market pressure from foreign price controls.
Sounds still cool, eh? Except Canada has not nearly the quantity to affect our prices at all. In other words, there is no ace of spades in the shuffle, just the one in the Republican palm.
Maricopa could spend millions on new voting machines after the “audit”.
Republican election officials can’t trust the “auditors” from damaging or rigging machines since they lost custody of both the machines and ballots. In my opinion they should send all the bills to #45.
Recount in AZ opposed, as always, by Republicans not Democrats.
What are the Republicans trying to hide? Turning over 2.1 million ballots to a fly by night tech company with little or no oversight puts the Republican run Maricopa elections officials on edge. They fought the Senate demands from the beginning.
Two more reasons to scrub death penalty.
Why we still have a death penalty is a question we should really deal with. This case is a classic miscarriage of justice…again. And the DA is still unrepentant.
Think it is not all about Trump? The GOP disagrees…vehemently.
Now we have “fake support”. 18 million fake comments supporting removal of net neutrality.
And we are worried about external enemies doing our grand experiment?

“I’m not a respected source of information even for me. But I at least try to be honest about what I’m saying.”
I suggest that this fits into the political arena as the “Theory of Everything”. Except the honesty part.
Arizona recount held in secret with no witnesses.
For the 2020 election the Trump campaign complained that their observers were not allowed to breathe on the counters and had to move back a few feet. Or that windows were blocked from street view. Or ballot boxes looked like suitcases. Or a water leak was caught voting for mermaid rights.
So now they are counting 2 1/2 million ballots in secret with a company saying they have trade secrets to protect. Any discerning human knows that the AZ GOP will cheat if they disallow any witnesses or the media.
The Big Lie has the Republican Party by what is left of their spine in a jar on a shelf at Mar a Lago. And it is trying so hard to scam Americans.
Drug prices in the US are coming under scrutiny…again
That funding for research is primarily government or private foundation that private industry then moves forward with investors. The amounts touted by Big Pharma are, at best, inflated when it comes to bringing drugs to market. Here is a counter to the Pilot editorial:
The COVID vaccine was protected from risk by more taxpayer monies. Considering vaccine development has fizzled in the face of drugs for chronic diseases that are much more profitable, perhaps we should wonder why we are paying twice, and much higher rates at retail to boot, for all drugs. That is, when does the taxpayer get a return on his investments?
