Conservatism replaced by Trumpism. An empty faith led by a bogus prophet. All enabled by formerly staunch conservatives.
I think they get it right. I don’t always agree with some of the things old school conservatives support. But at least they were respectable.
Finally we’re starting to see that we do not need to occupy a hostile country forever. We should have just gone in and killed the people who needed killing, and those who stood in the way, broke some stuff, and come home.
Both sides have delved into questionable stats regarding a real problem.

So, when the reports started coming out that the eagerly anticipated IG report about the origins of the “deep state” investigation of Russian campaign interference had found that there was no there, there I was admonished to wait for the actual report before getting “too giddy.” Okay. Here it is.
And as I predicted many months ago, it confirms that the laughable charges of a “deep state” conspiracy to hurt Mr. Trump was just another of his countless lies. Part of his billowing smoke screen of falsehoods to hoodwink his gullible supporters.
The sad thing is that any thinking person could have made the same prediction. The idea that the “deep state” was out to hurt Mr. Trump NEVER made ANY sense. It was, in fact, their ill-advised actions put Mr. Trump in the White House – one of those “inconvenient truths” that “conservatives” never could incorporate in their “thinking” about the looming “bombshells” that were going to come out.
Well, there goes Article 2 of the impeachment. However SCOTUS rules in March, granting certeori establishes that Trump has a viable issue on refusing Congressional Subpoenas.
Sharyl Attkisson, an investigative journalist the Obama administration allegedly spied on, provides an informative catalog of 24 things Attorney General Barr has said in public since the IG’s FISA report came out. Reading through them, I find the conspiracy theory that Barr is Trump’s lapdog ironically reassuring.
It would seem obvious that an economic system where exchanges take place only if both parties see advantage is morally superior to one in which every exchange has a winner and a loser. Continue reading “The Moral Superiority of Free Markets”
For what its worth, this video provides a hypothesis explaining the nature of the Bidens’ corruption. To those who might dismiss the hypothesis as conspiracy theory, I freely admit as much. Hypotheses exist to be tested; this one is no different.
