Interesting story of the path that actual “fake news” travels the internet.

People who frequently re-post “news” that has passed through ZeroHedge, RedStateWatcher, et al should pay close attention.

Trump takes no responsibility

When things go bad. However, when things go well it is his stable genius that made it happen. The Obama bull market on Wall Street is a prime example of this phenomena. While it continued going up, all Trump’s doings.

Now that ALL the gains have disappeared into the miasma, he had nothing to do with it. I mean, who knew that a pandemic would threaten everything? Nobody, except maybe those Obama-appointed smart asses that Trump got rid of.

For the record the DJIA on January 19, 2017 stood at 19,804.72. At this moment it is at 19,495. Not totally his doing, of course, but his unsteady leadership and government-crippling policies have NOT inspired confidence.

Why is it that every Republican administration seems to end in disaster?

Trump continues to lie even as the virus spreads exponentially.

So much for the “wartime President” acting like one. To be fair, this may not actually be yet more of his con man dishonesty but rather the sheer stupidity of a man who cannot read a one page briefing paper or stay awake during a presentation. He may, in fact, be so stupid that he believes that FDA approval to test a therapy is the same as FDA approval to make it generally available.

Either way – dishonest or stupid – his luck has run out. He is not the kind of person we need in the Oval Office in this or any other crisis.

Lest we forget . . .

Our “wartime President” is now claiming that he knew all along how serious and grave this pandemic would be.

If he did actually know that, then the many statements documented in the clip were LIES that will kill hundreds or thousands of people. If he was not lying then, then he is lying now. And his willful ignorance then will kill hundreds or thousands of people. Either way, he has to go. He is not fit in any way to serve.

The next financial meltdown

Will very likely be in the health insurance industry. And soon. They simply have not built up the reserves needed to pay the horrendous looming costs of every ICU in the nation being maxed out for months. As sure as the sun rises in the east they will be coming to Washington to socialize these costs while keeping their profits. We should “just say no.” It is time for the government to acquire – at today’s prices – all the stock, shares and participations of every health insurer and reorganize them into Medicare-for-all. IMHO, as Len would say.
