OK. I get it. The parties involved don’t like each other very much. They disagree on most everything. BUT, is this not the time for the WH, GOP AND Democratic leaders to sit down and come up with the best way forward to protect the economy and, more importantly, the citizens of this country?

The Germaphobe-in-Chief

Now he’s worried a reporter will contract the virus, get on Air Force One and infect him. SMH.

My advice to Mr. Trump would be to stop talking about it, let Dr. Fauci take control of the situation and truly help to calm the fears. If he followed the examples of Governors Inslee and Norhtam, he would not be in this situation.

A tamp down of the conspiracies concerning COVID-19

For those that believe in science, this is the key takeaway (IMHO) …”virologists who’ve parsed the genome and infectious disease experts who study coronaviruses say they have enough evidence the virus is brand new and came from nature. A large group of them, citing genome analyses from multiple countries, recently affirmed in The Lancet that the virus originated in wildlife.

For those who believe in straight conspiracy theories, well, there isn’t a lot anyone could say to change your minds.

The OTHER takeaway from yesterday

Virginia turnout yesterday set records, according to the reporting. The percentages were still abysmal, (Hampton Roads ranging from 19% in VB to 34% in Williamsburg) but much higher than the last two primaries.

Democratic enthusiasm remains high in the Old Dominion. It will be interesting to see how it plays out come November.
