Judge Cannon approved the appointment of a special master and enjoined DOJ “from further review and use of any of the materials” seized at Mar-a-Lago until the special master releases them. The order allows the government to “continue to review and use the materials seized for purposes of intelligence classification and national security assessments.” The parties are ordered to submit a joint filing that identifies special master candidates and outlines the duties and procedures to be followed.

WSJ Lance Morrow on Fascism in America
Mr Morrow doesn’t like Trump, or Biden, but he is spot on about fascism in America.
Why the Energy Transition will fail
WSJ Freelink Energy Transition impossible
Who knew it takes as much energy to make a smart phone as a refrigerator?
Even viewed in the best light, green energy isn’t going to replace fossil fuels, nuclear is the only alternative and it’s going to take time.
The Party of the Overclass
The GOP is now the party of the working class, Democrats the paternal party of the bigotry of reduced expectations, where no one is held responsible for their own choices as long as they vote right and obey.
Joe Biden Tries to Walk Back Dark Speech: ‘I Don’t Consider Any Trump Supporter to Be a Threat’
That’s good to know, I guess.
The fallout from Stumble Joe’s Hellish speech continues. At first, the awestruck seemed to agree that “disturbing” was the word to describe it. Now various bifurcations have begun to emerge.
The speech was an epic troll, designed by psychological warfare specialists to make Donald Trump into a thing Democrats can run against this November and in 2024. Or, the speech was “Dark Biden’s” ascension to modern day Hitler status; an unveiling of the totalitarian Left to come. Or else, the speech was just “freakishly hilarious.”
I’m still stuck on “disturbing.” Ushered to and from the podium by Stabilizer Jill, did the president even know what he was doing?
MAGA-Republicans are Whiny Losers. Again.
Ranked choice voting systems are a big step towards enhancing democracy and building consensus. So, naturally Republicans are calling them a scam because, you know, they lost.
There is growing reason to believe that the predicted Republican tsunami in November is crashing on the rocks. There was the vote in Kansas showing the impact of Dobbs. There was the special election in NY-19th. There is polling in Senate races in PA, AZ, GA, FL, NC, OH, etc. where MAGA candidates are floundering where Republicans should be winning. And now this historic victory for a Democrat in Alaska which was, I will be the first to admit, handed to the Democrats by a whiny MAGA-Republican loser.
And hanging over all this is the zombie and increasingly desperate presence of Mr. Donald Trump. The whiniest MAGA loser of them all. Thanks Trump!
President Biden Delivers a Primetime Speech on the Continued Battle for the Soul of the Nation
Satanic.
“They’re mad you found out…”
Libs of TikTok censored on Twitter for truth
The rational for Libs of TikTok is to hold a mirror to the extremists on the left.
But when they accurately reported on “gender affirming surgery” on minors, they were suspended.
Apparently repeating the actual words of the leftists is hate speech.
Update on Omicron boosters
Earlier I said I would get one of the new Bivalent boosters as soon as they are available, however, further checking uncovered a caveat to that.
I still will get the booster, along with my flu shot, but I will wait until October. The reason is that I got my 2nd Wild Type booster in May, and the immunologists now recommend waiting 5 to 6 months between boosters. Not because of any danger but because if you take it too soon, your immune system will destroy the new antigens before they are taken up to re-program your B lymphocytes and the booster will not work as well.
So, consider the timing before getting the new booster, even though it will be available next week.

Much is made in some quarters of the CDC’s revised guidance on Covid-19, published a few days ago. One CDC statement in particular has attracted attention:
