What a bunch of weenies the GOP elected Supremes are. What do they think the Dems are going to do to them, pull their diapers down?  Smile.

One good thing about being a slug, as I like to refer to myself of late, is that I don’t have to hear or read anything about the hoople-headed flake squatting in the White House – unless it’s by accident or that I am simply more interested in ANYTHING/ANYONE else. Case in point . . .

I chose this particular “what’s next . . .” because someone has been telling me this exact same outcome was coming regarding sensible gun laws for a good while, now. And, today the front page of the V-P said it, too.

Must be true, huh? Well, I for one hope so.

The naysayers can’t complain, not one itty-bitty bit, if the changes in this entire paragraph come true. Why do I say that? Well, because the ‘Guns for All, Anytime, Any Day, in Any Numbers’ gang has had continuing chances to be part of the dialog of this conversation calling for sensible new gun laws. They, however, have thumbed their noses at any and all conversations related to guns laws – even the one when Gov. Northam called a special session of the VA General Assembly to discuss JUST THIS TOPIC AND JUST GUN ISSUES.

So, yeah, I think my friend is correct – new gun laws will come about in our state in 2020. I’ve been all for sensible changes to make mass-shootings result in less deaths, even if we can never end all mass-shootings. As for those law-abiding citizens, however, who cannot/will not budge even one itty-bitty bit for any kind of new gun laws . . . ? Well, there’s just one thing to say  . . .

‘Read them and weep.’ They WILL happen. There was opportunity upon opportunity to be part of the solution that hopefully 2020 will reap regarding gun laws.

I keep hearing GOP Congressmen/women say that the Democrats want to impeach Trump ONLY because they hate him. Or loathe him; or really, really don’t like him.

Here’s what I find wrongheaded  with that assessment: Why can’t someone who HATES, LOATHES or REALLY DISLIKES him sincerely and reasonably ALSO believe he is Un-American and more inline with following foreign adversaries’ politics than those of his own country’s? Why can’t haters, loathers and dislikers ALSO recognize what appears to be crimes and unconstitutional actions?

Hating or loathing doesn’t make one void of common sense, does it? I haven’t liked DJT since his trip down ‘Birtherism Lane’; but, it wasn’t till the “Russia, if you’re listening. . .  ” comment that I immediately thought he might be in real trouble and could have to deal with those comments that he refused to take back, if elected. And, here we are.

What a jumbling, mumbling sack of falsehoods and heaping piles of nonsense from the fellow who currently inhabits in the White House. While this letter has all the bite, bitterness and non-truths that most of this president’s blatherings contain – the good spelling and grammar pretty much tells any clued-in person that DJT didn’t actually write this. But, no matter, though – the nastiness screams T.R.U.M.P. and even uses his autograph.

People who love this country must IMPEACH HIM T.O.D.A.Y.

They all have to show up tomorrow for the vote on the articles of impeachment and let as many Americans see the important voting process unfold, instead of being asleep. Wonderful drama! This must be what ‘donald’ lives for. Ha – ya think.

Geesy-peesy,  I’ve been trying to watch the impeachment procedures tonight and I just realized that Collins is just one more Trump defender (with nothing to defend ‘djt’ with) who has  nothing that resembles an ‘inside voice.’ Ha. I thought Jim Jordan was the owner of the most annoying loud mouth; but, darned if the ‘I LOVE MY VOICE’ Mr. Collins doesn’t own the annoyance trophy. I guess that’s what trying to find something – ANYTHING – to support ‘the trumpster’ with, unsuccessfully, day after day will do to your vocal chords. Just saying . . . /G, P and Beyond.

He loves mocking and disparaging people so much, he probably thought they were just talking about how wonderfully great he is. Too funny, and so deserved.

I really didn’t see anything in Elizabeth Warren’s response to the question given her re: same sex marriage that was offensive. She was funny and clever; and not insulting, as I read at another site.

Maybe it was because I didn’t watch the debate live this week, but just now caught it. Her comic delivery worked for me and, and yeah, she may have used what was a doubled-edged joke – but, so what?

As a bit of a liberal (who’s going to believe that…), I was OK and I bet most of those watching who weren’t in favor of same sex marriage would have found at least a teeny-weeny chuckle there, too.

I watched some of Donald J. Trump’s BS-filled rally and can’t believe any decent, intelligent Americans find this kind of talk acceptable. Is it just me, or do others find it beyond laughable that Trump is stupid enough to talk about anyone kissing someone elses ass?
