Not that this is a bad thing, but one has to wonder if this is a similar precursor to 1989. “He [Barr] compared Maduro’s indictment to the 1988 indictment of former Panamanian strongman Manuel Noriega, which eventually led to the 1989 U.S. invasion of that country.”

Just thought I’d change the subject away from the Coronavirus issue for a minute.

Been there done that…

My last sea command was The Big Stick from 2003-2005. During our deployment in 2005 about one third of the crew ended up with a stomach virus that made its way through the ship rather quickly. No one needed to be evacuated, but let’s just say the lines to the heads were long and uncomfortable. And there was an emergency order of toilet paper required.

Does it seem like the GOP is attempting to follow the trickle-down method of economic situmulus?

I’m not saying it is right or wrong for the Democrats to block the cloture vote. But if the majority of the stimulus, which we have been told was for the people, is front loaded to corporations, then doesn’t it stand to reason that trickle down is the GOP answer here?
