WSJ Defense Production Act for Solar Power?

The Defense Production Act was intended to mobilize sectors of the economy to support a war effort with incentives and assigned priority for resources. It was not intended to fix baby formula shortages caused by overregulation or to support an uneconomic climate agenda.

Redirecting resources means that other industries will not have the resources the market would have sent their way, there are victims balancing the beneficiaries. The presumption is that Biden is a better judge of priorities than the market.

That worked so well for the Soviet Union.

The unpalatable truth in Ukraine

About a week or so ago I predicted a narrative shift in mainstream media with respect to the war in Ukraine. The old narrative held that Ukraine is winning the war. The new narrative — to the extent that The Hill is representative — holds that Ukraine has lost the war.

The way I see it, the Biden administration has big egg on its face. The collapse of Ukraine as a viable nation state is as bad as America’s ignominious surrender in Afghanistan.

Everything (Biden) is broken.

Matt Walsh’s “What Is A Woman” Film Review!

I am unable to view Walsh’s film (because I don’t have or want a subscription to the Daily Wire web site where it is published). This review is as close as I can get to the original content, but it is enough, I think. Besides, this particular review is special. The reviewer legally became a man a few years ago. She later married an Asian of her own gender and birthed his child.

Dear Friends, Sorry to Announce a Genocide

In August of 2021 a group called the Public health and Medical Professionals for Transparency in America submitted a FOIA request to the FDA seeking the release of documents related to FDA’s Conditional Use Authorization for Pfizer Covid-19 vaccines. The FDA ignored the request, so the group sued. Last January, a U.S. district court ordered the release of the requested documents.
