This issue creates a puzzle for someone with my opinions about public schools. Normally I’d say shut them down, they don’t work, they can never work, so give back the education of children to their own families. Now Covid-19 has done just that, but I find I am in favor of re-opening the schools.

Rudy Giuliani Turns Over Alleged Photos Of Underage Girls From Hunter’s Hard Drive To Delaware Police
This can’t be happening. The Hunter Biden laptop story is almost too bizarre to be real. Nothing like it has ever happened before. We need the voice of sanity — like CNN’s Jeffrey Toobin — right now.

Lots of smoke, but — I can already hear it — no smoking gun.

- Tidewater Forum is a social media platform.
- Therefore, Tidewater Forum should suppress the story.
If the industry leaders have good reason to apply censorship in this instance, shouldn’t venues like this one do the same?

Virginia Should Reject the National Popular Vote Compact
I agree with the commentary. The National Popular Vote Compact is abominating to liberty.
In our system each of the states is a sovereignty that represents (and answers) to the political interests of the people in it. The NPVC would — like the 17th Amendment — help dissolve the states as participants in the federal union. People within the sates would become disenfranchised.
To illustrate: Under the existing constitutional system, a Virginian’s vote is recorded and counted as cast. Under NPVC, some Virginians’ votes would be recorded then, in effect, changed. Hard to find liberty in that.
