Perdue seeks priority for poultry workers and families

The list of “essential workers” continues to grow.

It is pretty much impossible to determine how many “essential workers” Virginia has as the Dept of Health posts no numbers or definitions, but now meat and poultry workers AND THEIR FAMILIES are elbowing their way to the front of the line.

Nationally, with 210million Americans eligible for vaccination(18 and older) we have 30 million health care and long term facility residents at the front of the line, followed by 90 million “Essential Workers” so over half the US population will be vaccinated before we even start on the elderly.

And the list continues to grow. Those who most need the vaccine to survive are on their way to being last to get it.

Bored? These Americans are teaching their dogs to talk

I have a theory that animals (and possibly plants) have language ability that is essentially the same as the one humans have. Based on the undergraduate classes I took in college, virtually all linguists disagree with me, but that’s OK. I began thinking up my theory because I disagreed with them, at least in some of their starting assumptions.

So I find this story fascinating. Pet owners around the world who are contributing to the They Can Talk project may begin to find evidence to support my view that language itself exists as a feature of the natural world that exists outside the organism.

Pentagon plans to cut most of its support to CIA’s counterterrorism missions

Liberal conspiracy theorists may find this curious story alarming, because — according to the Trump-equals-Hitler narrative — the reported move looks like preparation for domestic martial law.

Whatever the deep and true reasons for the policy change, I’m glad for anything which constrains CIA operations. The agency should have been dissolved a long time ago (think Bay of Pigs, MKULTRA and Project Mockingbird).

All Trump’s Major Election Fraud Lies Debunked.

A handy reference for those interested in the facts. Most of the familiar and oft-repeated Trump lies about the “rigged election” are dealt with in detail. Reality once again shows its profoundly liberal bias.
