It is now clear, and documented, that the Russia/Trump collusion story was a full-blown hoax, wrongly created, then unethically and illegally sustained. All that remains is the tin-struck reverberation of cognitive dissonance among those who persist in believing that something, somehow, was true about it.

Frequent, Fast, and Cheap is Better than Sensitive
Tabarrok reports: “A number of firms have developed cheap, paper-strip tests for coronavirus that report results at-home in about 15 minutes but they have yet to be approved for use by the FDA because the FDA appears to be demanding that all tests reach accuracy levels similar to the PCR test. This is another deadly FDA mistake.”
I speculate that the cheap paper-strip tests might offer a solution to the face mask problem. It would be helpful to know and to be able to prove quickly that you are not infectious, meaning you don’t need to wear a mask.

The article makes a clever point: What looks like work in today’s economy may in fact be joblessness caused by automation and process improvement.
Whitney: Looks Like Sweden Was Right After All
Despite the article’s breezy optimism, I tend to think the success of Sweeden’s Covid-19 response remains an open question. Still, I expect Sweeden’s basic response model — protect the vulnerable, but don’t lock down society — will be vindicated in time. The reason is that Covid-19 is a relatively mild disease compared, say, to plague or Ebola.
Coke, Nike, and Pro-Black Lives Matter Corps are Using Slave Labor
Scott Adams often notes that pointing one’s finger at hypocrisy always fails as persuasion. So, go beyond that here. Consider, instead, a different dimension: That Chinese communism is the new model of capitalism to be imported to the West.
