Kim’s Idea

My wife, Kim, has an idea for President Trump: Assuming he isn’t pursuing other plans (martial law and such) he should offer to take over Rush Limbaugh’s radio show after leaving office.

The idea sounds brilliant to me. (It certainly proves, in case anyone needed it, that I’m not the smartest person in the world.)

      1. I agree.

I’m no Limbaugh fan, but that job requires a good, always handy vocabulary. A ‘gift of gab’ may sound simple, but, to keep talking and fill the airways, on and on, is a talent I think.

Trump doesn’t have either, in my opinion.

Every now and then I’ll flip to Limbaugh in the car to hear what he’s saying and there is nothing wrong with his delivery, etc. I don’t hang there more than 3 – 5 minutes though.

  1. He would have to squeeze in the schedule in among his court dates. He is facing a laundry list of charges from a couple of dozen women for rape, defamation, sexual assault, etc. He might room with Cosby. He has a major tax audit, a real one, about his deductions and non-payment of taxes. He has charges from NY about his banking frauds. He will have a lawsuit by Palm Beach about his breaking an agreement not to live at Mar a Lago. It is not zoned residential.

Depending upon the outcome of an impeachment, as a deposed president, he cannot dodge sedition and treason charges for trying to force Pence, among others, to break the law and make him president again.

Bottom line, he has a lot of fish to fry, and they are not all spot.

  2. At one time I thought this might be a good idea, but since the election, Trump has gotten too self centered and whiney. He’s lost his charm and all that’s left is the bitterness.

    I wouldn’t listen.

    1. I guess people see what they want. I personally never saw ANY “charm” in Trump’s schtick and do not remember him ever not being self-centered and whiney – the perpetual victim ruminating on his golden potty.

  3. Well from a business point of view, he would have a sizable ready-made audience of all those “naturally intelligent people” who voted for him. And, being on the radio, he could do this work from a country without an extradition treaty.

  4. John, not to down your wife’s idea, but it something that was spoken of shortly after T**** gave Rush the MOF. It is just occurring 4 years sooner than what some expected.

I’ll give T**** credit for one thing. He is EXCELLENT at marketing, as proven by his name being on damned near every building he has interest in. Even those that failed, he marketed until they were forced out of existence because marketing gets them in the door, but business acumen keeps the doors open. Failure upon failure there.
