No magazine covers for Melania…another crisis bungled.

Over 1/3rd million dead Americans, 10’s of millions facing eviction, ICU’s filled, worst cyber attack in history and debt going through the roof. What do we get? More whining from the grievance chief about a magazine cover for his wife. And him, I suppose.

  1. The whiner-in-chief strikes again. And his fans ADORE him for it.

Besides Melania had her fair share of spreads pre-presidency. Many of them NSFW. Maybe the new Playboy can do one. Ya know, for “old” time’s sake.

    1. The whine about Michelle Obama is so telling.

Melania will be fortunate not to have her face on the post office wall after Trump becomes a civilian. Mafia wives are not always just innocent bystanders.

I had to read those 2 sentences to ‘THE MR’. He cracked up just like I did. Too funny, sir. And, also, way too true.

    2. Totally indicative of the self-centered sickness that trump suffers from.

I blame the apologists and sycophants who allow a mentally ill person to serve as President of the United States.

  2. Wow. You just let that hatred spill over on anyone nearby.

What do you think the First Lady’s job is? Just to be a gracious hostess and dignified figurehead. And maybe do some charitable good as well. Melania did all that in the face of constant jealousy and hatred.

    But your hatred sprays wide.

    1. You mean like the hatred that was sent Secretary Clinton’s way and First Lady Obama’s way Every single day? Yeah, I remember those days well.

Actually, when women who are supposed to be dignified role models, such as respected First Ladies, have shown the world their ‘ta-ta’s and their ‘nether region’ to make a buck or two – eh, you can’t succeed in making them victims.

Strong women suck it up and don’t whine like babies and run to their husbands.

    2. Melania is a gold digging uh, uh “escort” whose only skill is posing provocatively with other women for – hopefully – soft-core porn. That she is “First Lady” is a disgrace and embarrassment in and of itself. You will attribute this simple truth telling to hate. You are wrong. I do not hate Mrs. Trump. She did not bargain for this and clearly does not want it. I feel her pain which does not make me particularly empathetic – she wears it on her face every day.

Meanwhile, actual haters – you, know hard core Trump supporters – went nuts when Michelle Obama dared to be seen in a sleeveless dress.

      1. I never cared how Michelle Obama dressed.

I did, however, care when she took it upon herself, with no expertise on the subject, to dictate what young people could eat.

I do not judge people on what they do that does not affect others. only what they impose on others.

Melania’s career as a model neither breaks my leg nor picks my pocket, so it is no business of mine. Or yours. But I was unaware you were such a prude.

What a truly foolish thing to think. Or is that simply drooling hatred at work? First of all Mrs. Obama did not claim any special expertise. But, she did follow the lead of those that do have it about what might help the epidemic of childhood obesity that is another facet of our healthcare failures as a nation. Nor did she try to “dictate” anything to anybody. That is pure hateful nonsense.

As for my being a “prude,” that is a swing and a miss. Call me a conservative who thinks that the White House is a place to hold up and defend the highest standards of personal probity and decorum.

          1. Okay. I AM a prude.

Seriously, I have always felt that Bill Clinton’s inability to curb his libido cost this nation an unimaginable amount. He can never live down the shame and disgrace. Never.

        2. First ladies over the years have taken on causes that are important to them. Childhood obesity was Michelle’s; bullying was attempted by Melania. Remember “Just say NO!”? Laura Bush did the literacy thing. Those are the ones I recall from recent history.

Melania was doomed to fail because she is the first lady to the bullier-in-chief. if she can’t do anything about her own house, how could anyone take her seriously about anything?

And I don’t think Mrs. Obama ever said anything negative about “fucking Christmas decorations”.

          1. Laura Bush did not tell people what they had to read.

Mrs Obama’s embracing the cause of childhood obesity is fine. but employing her husband’s powers over the school lunch programs to force her solution on localities and individuals was an abuse.

When First Ladies use their pulpit to advance a cause, that is admirable (though subject to question) but they are not elected, so using their influence to force their will on others is not.

          2. I seem to recall Reagan saying that some condiments like ketchup and pickle relish should count as vegetables.

Heinz was thrilled, I am sure.

I guess Michelle Obama could have just voiced her support. And I guess some kids threw out veggies and ate Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

But we are all paying dearly for childhood obesity which will become ever more expensive as they grow older and get sick on my premiums.

And I suppose since my taxes are covering Medicaid also, which is the healthcare most folks whose kids are on lunch programs, it would be nice to have healthier options for the patients.

Not to worry, I think Trump trashed the program so all the kids can look like him. Without the resources, of course.

A lose-lose deal from the master of deals.

            IMHO

          3. One of the things that made this country great was the freedom to choose.

But today’s Democrats seem to think that should be limited to the choices they approve of.

History has shown us that prosperity and freedom go hand-in-hand. It’s a lesson that takes decades to learn and one election to forget.

          4. One of the great truths in life is that children do not always make good decisions about nutrition.

That tax funded nutrition programs be pizza and ice cream along with cancellation of Physical Ed except for gifted athletes is taking away freedom when they grow older.

          5. Then it is their parents burden to correct that, perhaps through influence in their local school boards.

But it is not the prerogative of the President’s wife to dictate the same diet for sedentary urban school children, athletes in training, and young outdoorsmen in Wyoming.

Repeat over and over, “Free to choose” until you remember the concept.

          6. No, my desire for freedom does not bow to former President not Mrs Obama.

I so not approve of anyone telling me how I must live my live, so long as I harm no one in doing so.

It is you who is obsessed with personal animus, I object to what people do, and despise those who repeatedly try to impose their choices on me.

Michelle Obama encouraged healthier eating and the Obama administration tried to provide nutritionally sound meals instead of junk food to help feed poor kids. Those facts do NOT explain the drooling hatred you exhibit. Where does it come from? Did your “Mammy” spank you when you were a little child in Louisiana? Is that why you hate strong black women? For sure, we can all look forward to years of vitriolic polemics about Kamala Harris.

          8. Your concept of “Liberty” seems all encompassing. Now it requires the government to provide junk foods so that kids getting free school lunches can be at liberty to choose to harm their health. Providing healthy foods instead of junk foods is just another form of “tyranny.”

Kids taken from their mothers and kept in “cages” by Republicans is not “abuse” but keeping sugary soft drinks off the lunch menu is! WOW!

And, by the way, good nutrition for children at lunch does not depend on what state they live in or whether they are “young outdoorsmen.” And, unless we are talking Sumo, “athletes in training” do not build their bodies with junk food.

You clearly despise Mrs. Obama, so what choice did she EVER try to impose on you? If you have no answer that makes sense, the reason you despise her must be something else.

  3. Sigh.

The point was really simple. Where the hell is our elected head of state?

Melanie and her bitterness about no magazine cover is petty. Trump’s is too.

Again, the man we hired has not only quit working, but he has shifted his efforts to dividing and destroying my country.

Yet, that is fine with you.

Lock and load if that is what you want, because it sure looks that way.

      1. Where was Trump when the negotiations for COVID relief was ongoing? Then waiting so long that the people will not get checks in time.

Why did he discourage mask wearing? Even mocking those who followed his own administration guidelines.

Why has he posited for 5 years that our elections are rigged?

Why does he want to declare martial law?

Why does he demand a list of those Republicans who believe he lost the election?

Tax cut cost a trillion a year for a 1 quarter gain in the GDP that fizzled before COVID?

        North Korea flop.

Chinese tariffs a flop that cost us 50 billion in bailouts plus whatever consumers had to pay.

And I get dinged by Don for “hatred”.

If you beat a dog enough, he will bite back. Well, Trump has beaten the American people until we can’t abide by his crap anymore.
