I was skeptical of the federal authority in my long-haired youth, but grew to appreciate it as I matured and began learning how the world works. Now that my hair is gray, I am again skeptical of the federal authority. I am convinced that it has become irredeemably corrupt in almost every way.
So, I am not as averse to secession as I once was.

Devoid of impressive writers — Ms. Dougherty carried that distinction alone for many years, until she, too, eventually departed — the paper long ago became a local Pravda in my estimation. It will no doubt purify its role in that capacity under the new management. That may even be the point.
Oh well. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger: Salt water and red ink, for those who may remember a similar phrase.
I posted an interesting-to-me commentary the other day on the hypothesis that the Covid-19 virus is man-made. Is the hypothesis true? I don’t know. I must also admit that — being just a lowly tech writer by trade — I am too ignorant to advance a credible opinion on this subject.

I would guess, too, that if the phone call was a “settlement discussion,” then the allegation Trump committed extortion is without merit.
You can’t say there is no evidence of election fraud.
The writers of this piece are both members of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. They were among a group of legislators who examined official state election data and found that more votes were cast in Pennsylvania than the number of voters who voted.

The video makes a compelling story of the notion that China tampered with the 2020 election. You may want to read Wikipedia’s entry on the producer, The Epoch Times, to become aware of their bias.
The source makes no difference to me. The story the video tells is plausible and worthy of consideration for that reason.
Speculations that the Covid-19 virus is a man-made bioweapon have been circulating since the pandemic was announced. This one mentions some timeline factors in the written summary I hadn’t heard before. The audio is more of a rambling academic discussion loosely tied to the hypothesis.
I don’t hold any firm views on whether Covid is man-made, but it wouldn’t surprise me.
The proposal this piece describes has been floating around the Internet in various forms for a couple of weeks. This version asserts that the Vice President, in his Constitutional role as President of the Senate, has plenary power to reject the slate of electors from any state he considers — based on knowledge and belief — to be invalid.

Notice, too, that the Biden transition team has been cut off from DoD classified briefings, and President Trump is calling his supporters to a massive protest in Washington D.C. on January 6, the day Congress will officially count the Electoral College vote. I hear those military vehicles distributing Covid vaccines to the states are actually prepositioning shock troops.
