I refer back to the FIRST posting of Ms. Gabbard’s shared by Mr. Roberts. I strongly recommend you go back and read the piece I posted under it explaining how Ms. Gabbard is under the control of an actual cult.
And when I said WE, I was referring to ALL of the forum members.

She’s a Democrat learning to be a Libertarian. Most of our recruits come from the GOP.

Well, Democrats want to be good people. That means they can’t become Republicans when they #WalkAway.
Maybe Ms. Gabbard is showing that the Libertarian Party is a place disaffected Democrats can escape to.

That’s a stretch.
People like to say Libertarians are fiscally conservative and socially liberal, but that’s just what it looks like from outside.
Libertarians believe in strictly voluntary exchanges and minding our own business.
we are the polar opposites of totalitarians.
I suspect that Gabbard was always libertarian at heart but grew up completely immersed in Democratic policy in Hawaii. She’s just shedding her Democrat scales.
To actually go from Democrat to Libertarian you would have to pass through Republican.
The way the spectrum really works is Authoritarian Socialist>Democrat>Republican>Libertarian.
First you realize you don’t own other people’s earnings, then you realize their personal life is none of your business unless it subjects you to involuntary burdens or harms children
Then you’re a Libertarian.

I dunno. The Libertarian Party is an established organization with a lot of unrealized potential. An effective leader — or even just an effective social media influencer — could make something of it.
In any case, The Tulsi Gabbard show interests me because it is exceptionally well produced and it seems to be purposeful — to what purpose remains to be seen.
