Pilot Governors School for the Arts Grease

OK, my granddaughter was in it, but the GSA puts on some amazing shows. The talent in these high school kids, and the work they put into the production, really raises my spirits.

Makes you almost forget that the storyline is essentially about a teenage girl taking the decision to give up her virginity.

  2. Don’t need to see the article. I think the GSA is a GREAT opportunity for the children of this region to flex their artistic muscles. Proud Grandpa is a good role for you, Don.

    On a personal note, there is a picture on the wall at my Dad and Step-Mother’s apartment in New Jersey with Judy (the aforementioned Step-Mother) as Rizzo and some guy named John something or other as Danny. Recently, Marilu Henner hosted an evening at Studio 54 (now a performing arts center in NYC) celebrating the anniversary of GREASE. Lots of old friends and familiar faces performed and the evening was quite well received.
