  1. No, Pelosi would not be worth going to war, but her office is, and so is the principle that China does not tell us what our foreign policy will be.

    China cannot afford war with us. If a confrontation is required for their leader to make that clear to its loose cannon military leaders, that might be necessary.

      1. I doubt that Pelosi’s Asia trip will advance free trade in any meaningful way. I’m guessing the project is just an attempt to burnish her legacy before she retires. Possibly, too, her Taiwan provocation is intended to make Democrats look tough on the world stage. Maybe she’ll pick up some stock tips for her husband along the way.
