This fellow is openly channeling Russian MOD communiques. They show Russia doing well. Maybe they are gradually inching forward by destroying everything in their front as expected. The question has always been the price. Putin is NOT getting all of Ukraine for the price of a few minor sanctions. This has not been a “genius” move.
I am reminded of the punch line in a speech by the Scottish chieftain Calgacus as quoted by Tacitus in his book of Roman history. . .
“Ubi desertum faciunt, pacem appellant.”
They make a desert and they call it peace.
The fact remains that Russia’s aggression could not have gone much worse and that whatever “victory” they might achieve through the weight of brute force will be a Pyrrhic victory. It will be seen in history as a monumental failure as devastating as our blundering into Vietnam. IMO.

So what?
RE: “It will be seen in history as a monumental failure as devastating as our blundering into Vietnam.”
That’s a nice fantasy.

It is not objective. Duh!
“nice fantasy?”
More like the reality that has already occurred. But you are welcome to your opinion. I know that nothing can ever shake it.

Where is it wrong?

Where is it right? You have no way to answer because it is a crime to report the truth in Russia.
“Prove it.”
The damage already done to Russia’s people, its military, its economy, its reputation, and its security already has been thoroughly documented. You are not interested in the truth. Never have been. Typical Trumpkin.

That’s what I thought. You have no answers. You make bold claims you can’t support.
RE: “Where is it right?”
Russia’a MOD has a reputation for factual accuracy. That a former CIA officer references MOD reports is evidence of that.
RE: “The damage already done to Russia’s people, its military, its economy, its reputation, and its security already has been thoroughly documented.”
And yet you can’t cite any facts. I doubt that any of the damage you allege is real.

Coming from a person who has mistrusted our CIA, that is curious.

“Russia’a MOD has a reputation for factual accuracy”
Now, that is milk out the nose funny.
You doubt the truth of the damage to Russia? Based on what? Your desire to see not ANY failing by Putin?
Let’s take just one of the things I mentioned. Security. Do you think Russia is more secure with Sweden and Finland joining NATO? Do you think Russia is more secure with Germany rearming after 70 years of staying lightly armed?

If you think so, why don’t you give us some examples of where Russia’s MOD has published false information? Be specific (I know you can’t).

I don’t think either of those things matters much, because NATO has shown itself to be weak and Germany has never been a successful military foe to Russia.

Ukraine was never a successful military foe of Russia either.

Russia MOD does not even honestly report Russian casualties. You seem unable to understand that sometimes reporting true facts does not make it a reliable source for understanding the overall picture. There is no way to know what they are not reporting since they do not have a free press that can check on them.
“NATO has shown itself to be weak?’
How many NATO countries has Putin invaded?
Your comment about Germany is just plain stupid.
