Of course you like it. It is Russian propaganda from start to finish.
The author is a professional Russia apologist known in Europe as a crackpot conspiracy theorist.
Here is an analysis of an interview he did on – wait for it – RT.
“And in fact, for almost an hour of broadcast, on many subjects (terrorism, Syria, Putin, Iran…), Jacques Baud effectively ticked most of the boxes of geopolitical conspiratorial bingo.”

In short, you have been had. Again.

Why are you so lazy? If there is something in the source you think is Russian propaganda, tell us what it is and why you think so.

I will invoke Brandolini’s Law. That is as much as this piece is worth.

If that is how you interpret my comment, I will not try to dissuade you.
So far on this thread in response to a reasonable comment you have called me “lazy” and now “stupid.” But I digress.
I will only say that my point in invoking Brandolini’s Law was about the material you shared and not about my intellect or my energy.

Perhaps you believe that, but this being a discussion blog merely stating your beliefs is an insufficient contribution. If you state your belief you owe it to your audience to also substantiate it somehow.
And, frankly, knowing that you consider the article propaganda helps no one and doesn’t change the value of the article in any way.

It IS propaganda and the value of it is useless. Unless you are trying to spread the propaganda in some way.

Uh, you may not like my discussion, but I discussed it.
I made two points about it.
I supported my point with a link to an article laying out the craziness that this Russophile embraces.
I invoke Brandolini’s Law for obvious reasons. It takes you ten seconds and little effort to provide this nonsense. It would take hours to re-litigate yet again all the Russian LIES he has folded into his piece.

An untranslated article in French written two years ago. It means nothing with respect to the current article I shared.
Do you not wish to be taken seriously?

By you? I could care less.
But when I see nonsense posted or lies spread, I am going to call them out.
And, as a matter of fact, the article I linked to was VERY relevant to the nonsense you posted. It establishes that this article which you found to be “one of the best overviews of the war in Ukraine I have read” is the work of a serial nutjob who has been spreading Russian LIES for years. Nothing such a person writes can be taken at face value.
Let me also note the laughable dopiness of you whining about it being “an untranslated article in French.” YOU started this thread with an “an untranslated article in French.” I used the Google translation option. I bet that you did too.

Straight to ad hominem
It’s false because you don’t want it to be true.

It’s false because IT IS FALSE. And you and Mr. Roberts WANT it to be TRUE.
See how that can be cut both ways? Probably not, but I thought I would mention it anyway.

Call it what you want.
If you read the critique of his RT interview you would know that he is someone who. . .
Accuses the United Nations of inflating the death toll in Darfur from 2,500 to 300,000.
Boldly lies about Bashar al Assad’s Sarin attacks on rebel civilians.
Parrots the Russian party line on documented atrocities and war crimes in Syria
Claims the GRU has never poisoned anyone.
etc.
In short, the author has established himself as a conspiracy theory nut and Putin apologist. He is not worth and does not deserve being taken seriously. I did not. Maybe you people do? You clearly want to. He certainly parrots the same propaganda that you do – Poor little Putin had no choice. America drove him to it. The only thing missing from his screed was Hunter Biden and George Soros.

That’s the problem arguments. It could be just as likely that your preferred cite is Ukrainian propaganda.
Much of what Baud writes is in line from what we know from other sources, and with reason.
It is on record that Putin’s original demand, prior to the invasion, was recognition of the annexation of Crimea and the independence of the separatist republics.
The goals of demilitarization and de-Nazification were there from the beginning and they are being pursued.
The maternity hospital claim stunk of false flag, or at least deception, from the beginning.
It certainly makes more sense than what we are being fed by the MSM.

It may make more sense to you and Mr. Roberts but we all know where you people stand in the struggle between democratic values, norms, and objective truth vs authoritarianism, uh, European civilization, and received truth. And we know how dutifully you follow the genius of your Dear Leader.

You expressed an opinion. The source of the opinion is very pertinent to the weight it should be given.
Claiming that Russian propaganda is more reliable than the combined efforts of the free press throughout the civilized world marks you as just another right-wing, conspiracy theory, America-hating nut. Just like this author.

Taken by illegal force. And then arming the separatists in those regions. And the de-nazification is for more or less ONE single battalion. They aren’t in Kyiv, so why blow up the capital?
Keep giving Putin the pass while he murders INNOCENTS.
