Nixon at least hired private operatives for his misdeeds, Obama/Hilary used the DOJ and intelligence agencies for their criminal spying and disinformation.
This is at least an order of magnitude worse than Watergate.

Drooling haters and conspiracy theory nuts have no answer for two easy questions. . .
If the apparatus of government was out to help Clinton, why did the FBI Director sabotage her campaign at the last minute virtually assuring the victory of Donald Trump?
If the apparatus of the government was out to harm Trump, why was the fact of inquiries into his campaign operatives’ proven Russian involvements kept under the radar until after the election?

The Clintons have learned to go for the lesser scandal. Allow something people won’t turn away from them over, like a blue dress, to avoid the focus on a decades long history of sexual harassment in the government workplace.

I suggest you get a grip on reality. The land investigation was going nowhere after years and $55 million so the Clinton’s arranged for a blowjob and a stained dress. Central casting and a prop, no problem.
The right is just pissed at Putin. Not for invading a sovereign European nation, but for distracting from vaccine mandates and CRT.

So, the FBI was acting on Clinton orders when they sabotaged her campaign? Brilliant! And, it seems that first Comey tongue-lashing didn’t quite do it, so they had him come back a second time with baloney about Weiner’s laptop. Doubly brilliant. Those Clintons – always playing the long game. I wonder what the goal is if it was not the Restoration? Hmm. Interesting.

Considering Comey came out after the fact and said he KNEW the revelations about the Wiener computer would probably HURT her campaign, your statement is another made up thought because that is what you WANT to believe.

So now your theory is there was a massive plot to harm Trump’s chances, but a decision was made not to use it? Nobody wanted a landslide victory? Besides, there were plenty of people who thought Trump MIGHT win and at the very least it would be close. The perfect time to unleash the carefully crafted damage.

I believe 538 put the race as effectively tied shortly before the election. It did predict a Clinton win, but with many caveats.
A dump of harmful political messaging would probably have turned the razor edge wins in key states boosted by Manafort’s data to Russian intelligence.

Well put. The article comes at an interesting moment, given the NYT’s decision to validate the Hunter Biden laptop story. A reader of tea leaves might guess that the oligarchs who own our national media have decided to throw the Democratic Party under the bus.
Or — my favorite speculation — the pressure of the war in Ukraine is causing our leadership class to crack up (this being Putin/Xi’s secret motive).
In any case, it is fascinating to note the inversion of ideologies on display. The Left’s former “commie lovers” now hate Russia, whereas the Right’s polemicists who once stood athwart history shouting “Stop!” now shout “Go!”

All of this has been known for some time but vehemently denied by the left as mere opposition research. They don’t give rats patooty if their idol comitted massive fraud. All they do is ignore it, deflect, make excuses and try to change the subject while cheering the cover up. But let a republican spit on the sidewalk and they bananas with BS.
