While we’re on the topic of possibly lavish and unnecessary spending, the house just unanimously passed a bill providing even more generous healthcare to spies with a “disease” the State Department knows is fake. Are the fiscal conservatives here aghast at this?

The article doesn’t show that Havana Syndrome is “fake”. There is, accordingly, nothing for fiscal conservatives to be “aghast” at.

When you’re asking for the money, the burden of proof is on you to prove that these people are experiencing more than crickets. The report suggests they have failed to prove it is real.

Exactly! The Buzzfeed news, that highly respected source of news (cough), has “exclusive” FOIA information, ha ha, from a JASON report, who ever that is, that contradicts the state department and national academies of sciences. So the article basically says one side believes the anomaly is real and another that says naaah its just a figment of your imagination, just bugs??? No definitive proof of anything while Russel defames embassy staff by claiming they are all “spies”. All sounds so much like a National Inquired story to me.

You are, of course, free to believe the Cubans and Chinese have developed a secret death ray, the technology for which is not currently possible, according to scientific consensus.
