The Pentagon Is Behind the Fake Alien Agenda

Source: The Unz Review.

The writer proposes a (conspiracy) theory to explain recent media attention to UFOs. In brief he argues that the famous “tic tac” videos and testimonials from military insiders are fake and preparatory for staging a giant hoax of an extraterrestrial invasion of the planet from which the subjugation of humanity (by humans) will emerge.

Having witnessed several mass hysterias in my lifetime, I’m not inclined to dismiss the proposal out of hand.

      1. That’s 2. But if that is your “several”, OK.

Not sure what kind of hysteria the OJ trial caused, except for maybe the advent of Court TV and the obsession with “crash and burn” celebrity. That happens almost daily now. I’ve lost count of the number of TV shows are involved in that. It’s not really hysteria; it’s more like marketing.

And Y2K, I agree with. I worked with a former Marine who stocked up on ammo and Ramen. Twenty one years later, I believe he still has about 90% of that stock left.

But as far as this “news” causing hysteria, I’ll withhold judgement. I think Mr. Chandler’s take is a little closer to home than yours and the writer’s.

  1. The fact that the only “witnesses” and interviewees are government insiders is certainly conspicuous. As the author points out, the government has certainly stoked UFO interest in the past, as in Roswell and Area 51, to disguise its development of secret Cold War spy planes. My initial assumption is that if this is a hoax, the purpose isn’t some impending NWO takeover, its just to “help” people understand the need for a massive military budget and to justify the multi-trillion dollar boondoggle that is the F-35. Having Marco Rubio specifically frame this as a national security issue makes this seem likely.

Speaking of Little Marco, this is the best segment from the article:

Rubio is the epitome of an “empty suit.” He’s probably gay and the only thing he actually cares about is overthrowing communism in Cuba so his family can go back and rule the country. He will say literally anything, so he’s the perfect figurehead of this weird agenda. I doubt he knows it’s a hoax. I think he’s just the kind of person who doesn’t ask a lot of questions, which is why he was the Chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee in the first place.

Not sure what him possibly being gay has to do with anything, but the rest is pretty spot on.

    1. This is the same Rubio who decided that unionizing Amazon in Alabama was good for the workers, but not anywhere else? I call that a “weather vane”; wherever the wind blows, he points. Small feet and all.

  2. I’ve been a sci-fi fan forever, but we have to be realistic. The laws of physics apply to little green men too.

Even with undiscovered technology, the energy cost of traveling from the nearest habitable star system would be enormous, If they came here, they would have to have a good reason, They’re not going come here, probe a couple of hillbillies and then go home without saying hello.

You are ignoring the fact that physics in THEIR universe may not be the same as in ours.

      1. OK, let’s say Plank’s constant is 5% different in their universe.

What happens when they cross into our universe? Do they fly apart, or collapse inward?

        1. You are talking about the here and now, not the there and then. You DON’T know one way or the other what their laws of physics are. And to say that you do is a bit “high horsey”.

          1. The Laws of Physics follow the laws of mathematics.

Even if aliens came from another universe with different laws, as soon as they emerged in our universe, our laws would apply,

          2. Not necessarily. There laws could easily override ours.

All in the realm of possibilities, which like renewable energy plans, you refuse to believe in.
