Cheating in the next election already

Fudging Census Numbers

Biden administration “adjusting” Census count to save Blue state seats and deny Red state gains.

When all the adjustments go one way, you know the fix is in. Probably borrowed some NASA climate scientists to do the numbers.

  1. So revision of estimates is automatically cheating? You’re way off base. Stephen Moore has had to revise his own statements enough over the years to warrant questioning EVERYTHING he say.

He finds a little something that might be different than what was “predicted” (Wanna talk polling?), and begins spewing his conspiratorial bull shit.

As a point ” The December revisions in population estimates under the Biden Census Bureau added some 2.5 million blue-state residents and subtracted more than 500,000 red-state residents.”

There was no Biden Census Bureau in December. Anything else stated after that is moot.

    1. I would agree that it is inaccurate to characterize it as the “Biden Census Bureau” It would be more accurate to call it the “Deep State Census Bureau” which is an extension of the Democratic party and always has been.

        And yet, you did.

        There are two possibilities . . .

        1. You did not notice that Moore’s silly attack piece was a time-warping joke because the revisions he questioned happened while Trump was President.

If (1) is true then you should recant your accusations of cheating. If (2) is true you are a joke as well.

In either case your defensive claim that the Census Bureau is an extension of the Democratic Party is laughable nonsense with not an ounce of merit or scintilla of evidence.

      2. ““Deep State Census Bureau””

And up until January 20th, under complete control of Ross, Commerce Secretary in 45’s cabinet.

You are so DESPARATE. Seriously. The Deep State Myth, is just that; a myth. If it truly were in place, 45 never would have gotten through the 4 years he did. He wouldn’t have made it 2.

        1. If the revisions were simply corrections of errors, there would be at least some going each way, but when ALL of the revisions are to the benefit of Democrats, that is reason to be suspicious.

          1. Uh, unless those were corrections of the political meddling with the census orchestrated by Trump. With him gone the professionals in the census bureau may have been removing his thumb from the scales. In case you have forgotten the census is just one more example of Trump ignoring the Consititution which requires the counting of all PERSONS and not just citizens. This traditionally non-partisan exercise was politicized by him.

And I have just as much evidence for my theory as you do for yours. And mine makes more sense. There is no reason for the professionals in the Census bureau to help the Democrats. There is plenty of reason to think they would want to clean up after the Trump hacks they had to live with.

    2. RE: “There was no Biden Census Bureau in December.”

Maybe not, but there there were population estimates at the Census Bureau that month. Those estimates are the numbers that were subsequently revised by the Biden Administration. As stated later in the article, “Many deep-blue states had 2020 census numbers significantly revised upward from their December estimates: Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.”

      1. Do you ever pay attention to employment numbers? They are revised up or down every month.

Anything after …”Biden Census Bureau in December”… is completely disqualified from accuracy. And even so, they are ESTIMATES. You ever get an estimate on a car repair and when the bill comes due it is higher (or lower) that originally estimated?

What the hell are you talking about, “revised upward”? They haven’t even fully released the results AND there are court cases pending concerning the estimation process being used.

Really? New go to for you? To question one’s interpretation. I made NO mistake. You have no defense for your argument, so you attack my interpretation.

      2. And if they were truly revised upward in New York, do you really think they would have come up 89 people counted short of maintaining a House seat?

        IDIOTIC.

  2. I haven’t seen much on this.

I would look into it a bit more because we had a rather unusual and challenging census with the pandemic and it’s effect on in person calls. Plus I seem to recall efforts to shut the count down earlier despite the constraints of the pandemic.

Also, corrections are the norm, it might be a matter of degree.

But fret not. The GOP is hands down the Gerrymandering champs.
