I like Reina Del Cid (dark hair) and Toni Lindgren because they remind me of my youth. In my circles somehow a random collection of incredibly talented young musicians seemed to appear out of nowhere at gatherings. I imagine high school band practice had something to do with it, but I don’t really know.
These two do a great Jambalaya, among other songs.
To really experience their style, try their rendition of Led Zepplin’s Ramble On.
I really don’t understand why so many Milennials hate Boomer music.
“I really don’t understand why so many Milennials hate Boomer music.”
Just like we Boomers passed on Big Band in favor of Rock and Roll. Young people just know better and invented everything.😇
Pretty neat video and talented young musicians.
(You said the one with “dark hair”, but to me they both have darkish hair. Who is who, left/right?)
My favs “growing old” in college were the Stones. I was about 2 rows back when they did a concert on campus in the ROTC Hall of all places. The tickets cost about $5 for both my date and myself if I recall. Mick Jagger looked 70 then too.
Donovan did a concert a few months later. Not a big fan of his, but he did go to a combined frat party and bird dogged a brother’s date that night and left with her.
Miss those carefree days to an extent. Although I will admit, being retired and reasonably healthy is a pleasure many don’t get. I am thankful for that.

Ahhh, yes . . . those wonderful days of the early ’60s. Me and the MR. still have long conversations about Rock ‘n Roll and about our first ‘loves’ and so on. I can still remember the ‘feel’ of those days of first kisses and early loves. It was all new and so very exciting.
But, life is good, no matter what decade.

Just out of curiosity, did you happen to go to the Crosby, Stills and Nash concert at Forman field?
