Someone in Trump’s camp needs to give him a dictionary. He’ll be needing it.

Since Donald Trump proved late on election day 2020 that he doesn’t understand the process of counting ANY ballots OTHER THAN the ones cast in person at voters own precincts, perhaps he is also a tad slow on that whole ‘concession’ part that he’ll be facing sooner (hopefully) or later. So, here’s a little assist:

  • “In politics, a concession is the act of a losing candidate publicly yielding to a winning candidate after an election after the overall result of the vote has become clear.”

  1. “Worth keeping in mind: Trump’s 2016 victory was narrow. (Lost the popular vote, and won the “blue wall” states by 80,000 votes.) Biden’s victory is substantial (and more conventional).”

    Adam Nagourney, NYT

So it is really not a “squeaker”, especially with what might be close to 4 1/2-5 million more votes and 306 electoral votes.

Just like Obama, Biden is going to inherit a mess created during a GOP rule. Just like Clinton for that matter.

    1. What mess? The strongest manufacturing sector since the 60s or the record low minority unemployment?

Or was it the $6500 increase in the real median family income, after 20 years of stagnation that you think needs correction?

I know, it’s the energy independence after 30 years of being dependent on the middle east that worries you.

      1. Manufacturing was decreasing in the last quarter of 2019.

We were energy independent before Trump took office.

The income increase was nice, but in the works before Trump took office. The corporate tax cut yielded some temporary bonuses for workers, but did little for investment domestically. A lot of stock buybacks though.

There you go again with your famous “alternative facts.”

Manufacturing is NOT particularly strong. In fact, it was in recession BEFORE the virus hit.

Median family income under Trump has continued the positive growth starting in 2012. It was NOT stagnant when Trump took over.

        What mess?
        Rent crisis.
        Mortgage crisis
        Student debt crisis
        Medical debt crisis
        Fiscal crisis
        State and local government crisis

So yes, between Trump’s foolish tax cuts and failure to control the pandemic, President Biden has inherited the biggest fiscal and economic mess since the great depression. When Obama incurred Trillion dollar deficits to restore the economy, you cried to the high heavens. When Trump incurred Three Trillion dollar deficits for NOTHING you have nothing to say except that things are greaaaaat!

Later works for me. Let’s see what the lawsuits turn up.

    1. What lawsuits do you think have any merit? Dozens have been tried already with tiny adjustments made in only a couple of insignificant ways like shrinking the distance of observer to worker by a few feet.

Just because the regime and its enablers say there is fraud does not make it so. There has to be evidence before a court will consider reviews. Saying “we think there is fraud” is not good enough.

I think that Trump and his folks say the Democrats cheated because that is exactly what he and the Republicans would have done.

And, they probably did through slowing the mail. Forcing some states to wait to count, or even sort, the mail in and early ballots on election day. Texas brags about counting all the ballots on November 3. Of course, they passed a law that the mail in and early ballots can be processed as they arrive.

Just because you say there was none doesn’t make it so. The courts can sort this out. Let’s give them a chance instead of rushing to judgement.

Why ask me? If the plaintiff wants to file a complaint, the court will take it from there.
