The issues and reasons raised in this editorial have almost nothing to do with Seattle, per se. Without a doubt there are responsible journals in every state of the union making similar recommendations.
You like living in the United States of Trump. We get that. The question is . . . Why? I think that the quote from Bryan Cranston quoted elsewhere may be relevant.
“I’ve stopped worrying about the president’s sanity. He’s not sane. And the realization of his illness doesn’t fill me with anger, but with profound sadness. What I now worry about is the sanity of anyone who can still support this deeply troubled man to lead our country.”
What’s at stake:
1. Massive taxation
2. Socialized medicine
3. Open borders
4. Massive lawlessness
5. Packing the court
6. The 2nd prolonged Great Depression
7. Weak foreign policy
And worst of all
8. Green New Deal
Well, Bobr, be sure to get out and vote. Of course, it will be a waste of time since you live in a state that Biden is going to win handily. Too bad we do not have a popular vote for President. Then your vote might make a difference.
Well, Bobr, according to the Founders, you would not be able to vote at all. Unless you are a wealthy landowner or prosperous merchant, which I kind of doubt.
I think that this election should open your eyes a little bit. You are a big fan of Donald Trump but because you happen to not live in a “swing state” your vote hardly matters. In fact, it does not matter at all. If you are okay with being marginalized in an important election then there is nothing more to say.
Sounds to me like Bryan Cranston nailed it regarding what we are left with after 4 years of the inept, Trump criminals running the country:
“I’ve stopped worrying about the president’s sanity. He’s not sane. And the realization of his illness doesn’t fill me with anger, but w7ith profound sadness. What I now worry about is the sanity of anyone who can still support this deeply troubled man to lead our country.”
Well, if I wanted to live in the United States of Seattle, I’d move there.

I’ll take things the way the founding fathers envisioned and not let NY and doped up California choose the president for everybody, thank you.
