President Trump would do well to let Former VP Biden dig his hole without distracting him with interruptions.

There is one out called a “Blounder”.

President Trump would have done well to take Napoleon’s advice to not distract an opponent when he is busy destroying himself.

Biden follows that advice on a daily basis. So which one is truly “smart”?

The materials de-classified and released by the now politicized DNI to serve Dear Leader’s political needs are not new. They were reviewed by the Republican lead Senate Intelligence Committee and found to be disinformation created by Russia to help Trump. To his credit, Senator Burr (R-NC) put the truth on these vital matters ahead of partisanship and treated them like the trash that they are. But not you. Sad.

As usual. missing the point.
What is not in doubt is that Brennan had briefed Obama, Biden and Comey of the allegations in July 2016, yet they went ahead and used the resulting Steele Dossier to defraud the FISA court.
They can no longer claim it was just mischief by Strzok and his girlfriend, the plot was discussed at the very top and yet the Trump campaign was not warned of possible foreign meddling and instead set up for an unsuccessful trap.
That removes any doubt of the weaponization of the intelligence services and of Biden’s complicity.

Plot? Not too ridiculous.
Point? There is no point to miss. Except, I suppose, in the fevered imaginations of die-hard Trumpers.
What part of the fact that an actually bi-partisan committee of Senators relegated these rat-fucking Russian allegations to the dumpster escapes you? They were put there because, you know, they are lies. The most significant thing around this “disclosure” is the fact that the DNI caved to the “political” people in the White House and tried to revive this bull the day of the debate. Pathetic. Almost as pathetic as Trump’s performance last night.

RE: “That removes any doubt of the weaponization of the intelligence services and of Biden’s complicity.”
Yes, it does. Clearly, it was an open secret within the IC, including the White House, that the Clinton campaign was planning dirty tricks involving Russia. But when tasked to investigate, the FBI elected to go along with the Clinton campaign hoax. Subsequent events are thus explained:
Clapper/Brennan cook up and publish an IC assessment report that claims, but never proves, Russia hacked the DNC and supplied Wikileaks.
The known-to-be-fraudulent Steele dossier is used improperly to obtain surveillance warrants on members of the Trump campaign.
The Trump campaign never received a defensive briefing on Russian interference in the election (in accordance with standard procedures) because there was never any true intelligence to brief them with. The IC would have been easily caught lying to the campaign.

“Comey publicly exonerates Hillary Clinton and staff in the email probe,”…
You forgetting about that little period about 10 days before the election when Come said the investigation was being reopened? Convenient on your part. As usual.
“The known-to-be-fraudulent Steele dossier”…
Also a half truth. Yes, some of the information has been discredited, but not the entire document.
Just like a good conspiracy; a nugget of truth to cause belief of the entire theory.

RE: “You forgetting about that little period about 10 days before the election when Come said the investigation was being reopened?”
Nope, not forgetting. The issue then was Anthony Weiner. Comey “reopened the investigation” long enough to say there was nothing to learn from Weiner’s laptop, which contained a database of Clinton communications the public might have been interested in.
RE: “Yes, some of the information has been discredited, but not the entire document.”
Nope again. The entire Steel dossier has been discredited. This has long been known, since not a shred of the dossier ever was proved, but just recently FBI documents confirmed the FBI knew Steele’s primary source to be a Russian agent spinning fairy tales.

While the Steele Dossier might not have been entirely discredited AT THE TIME, absolutely NONE of it had been verified.
You do not deliver an affidavit to the FISA court based on information you have not verified.
However, looking at Comey’s testimony today and how much he could not remember, perhaps he, rather than Biden, is the senile one.

Trap? Like Tiffany putting its jewelry behind glass display cases. “The thief was trapped your honor.”
The campaign chief giving polling data and strategies to Russian intelligence was a trap?
The Trump family collectively wetting their skivvies in anticipation of help from Russian intelligence was a trap?
Giving up sensitive Israeli sources to Russian intelligence was a trap?

What does that have to do with the top Democrats being briefed on the Russian intent to smear Trump in July 2016.
Changing the subject doesn’t change the facts.

Sad. You just loves your Russian lies in the morning. And as always you continue to promote this nonsense of an Obama plot to block Trump but always brush off the question – why did they not do it when they easily could have?

You referred to the “trap”.
What trap?
You don’t think the POTUS should be briefed about interference in our election?
What kind of security clearance did Trump or his campaign have regarding secret intelligence of foreign actors and our elections?
If Obama had vast business dealings with Russian oligarchs, sought information from Russian intelligence, given polling data to Russian intelligence, and lied about projects in Moscow being done with when they weren’t would that have been fine with you?
Especially when data was coming in about IRA activities in our crypto and social media world.
There was more than enough evidence to launch an investigation plus our national security was at stake.
Of course the President had to be advised.

“Of course the President had to be advised.”
At least the last one actually listened to the briefings he received.

He didn’t need one to recieve the defensive briefing to which he was entitled. The briefers would have controlled the details the briefing revealed.
What’s important is that the briefing was never given, which is what you’d expect if there was no Russian interference worth telling the campaign about.

Or if the previous administration was trying to exploit the Russian efforts rather than prevent them.
