The logic is flawless to some I suppose: If we just didn’t test for breast cancer, we could wipe out the disease.
“We have more cases than anybody in the world, but why? Because we do more testing,” Trump said. “When you test, you have a case. When you test you find something is wrong with people. If we didn’t do any testing, we would have very few cases. They don’t want to write that. It’s common sense. We test much more.”
Aside from the fact that we are around 30th in the world with regards to per capita testing, which is the only number that really counts, can this be for real or is Trump just making a “funny” joke.
I understand what he is trying ti say, but he isn’t getting it across well.
Many infected people have mild or no symptoms, so without testing, they would not be counted in the total.. President Trump isn’t talking about actual infections, which are what they are, he is talking about the statistics for the US compared to other countries which do less testing, Russia for example or those who test but lie to the rest of the world, like China.

I read it the same way but of course the obvious isn’t so obvious to the left. Otherwise there wouldn’t be anything to be snarky or complain about. Rolling my eyes at Len now….

And, to be sure, going to a testing site, and the minor invasiveness of the test, carries a risk of infection… snicker…
Probably Parkinson’s, which can be, but is not always, associated with cognitive decline until much later in the progression.

“I understand what he is trying ti say,”…
Trump doesn’t even understand what he is trying to say. How can you?

Every time ‘djt’ repeats that comment I cannot stop my eyes from rolling. He really is as intelligently challenged as it has appeared since he rode down the elevator with what’s-her-face.
He should not be allowed inside the WH; not even to beg for an autograph from a real, intelligent, legitimately elected American president.

Tabor says: “I understand what he is trying ti say, but he isn’t getting it across well.”
Statements like the one above makes my eyes roll, also.
A man who sits in the White House SHOULD be able to articulate his thoughts without anyone else feeling the need to CONTINUOUSLY, day after day, explain what he is trying to say.
‘Djt’ has no idea, HIMSELF what he is trying to say from one moment to the next. Some loony thought crosses his mind and zippity-zap – there it is – in a press conference, a tweet or an offhanded remark. If he’s elected again, I can only assume that he will only get worse in trying to share even the simplest of thoughts with Americans.
[For the record:
OFFHAND – The adjective offhand describes a remark or comment that is made without previous thought or preparation. As an adjective, offhand can mean careless, brusque, or inconsiderate.]
Sounds just about right for everything that blows through this sad excuse for a faux president’s lips, doesn’t it?

I suspect English is our president’s second language.
