Wouldn’t it be funny (strange) if it turns out our social/political overreaction to Covid-19 was based not on a threat to all of us, but to just a few of us? The article doesn’t say that, exactly. But it does tell us something useful about the virus that science is just beginning to confirm.
I spotted this, oh, about a week or two ago. The news channels were displaying photos of victims and some “miracle recoveries” (80+ years) and what I noticed was the victims, e.g., 3 in an Ohio family, were all, let’s say, cherubic, while the old guys who survived were very thin and energetic.

The problem is that there are dozens of these studies with varying results.
In NOLA the highest correlation was Type 2 diabetes. In another, elevated hemoglobin.
I suspect the problem is that there is a lot of overlap.

But didn’t you say that a lot of it has to do with the density of the population, not the density of the populace?
