An apt description of today’s GOP… by self-proclaimed Republicans

Conservatism replaced by Trumpism. An empty faith led by a bogus prophet. All enabled by formerly staunch conservatives.

I think they get it right. I don’t always agree with some of the things old school conservatives support. But at least they were respectable.

  1. If there is one thing that could unite every last mother’s son of the cap-C Conservatives, Republican, Libertarian, ANP, etc., it’s “foreign entanglements”.
Would that they could have guided those planes into any NYC building, it would have been the UN building.
But, Russia hack the DNC, or “find” 30,000 emails? Ukraine “investigate” the Bidens? Or China, too? Saudi money, maybe? Go for it Trump!
It’s not that foreign potentates may hold sway, nor that fealty may be owed… it’s just the legitimacy they can’t abide. Show us the money!

  2. The most potent weapon in the hands of the oppressor is the mind of the oppressed. — Steve Biko, anti-apartheid activist (18 Dec 1946-1977)

… or as in the case of the GOP, the lack of one.
