Full disclosure: My son is the new Director of Golf Operations for The First Tee of Hampton Roads. He could have stayed in California and worked in the industry there, but chose to come home and fulfill his true passion of working with kids to make them better people. The golf is just a bonus. IMHO.
Giving Tuesday: For those of you who are able and willing.

Enjoys golf, football (real and fantasy), being the best grandfather I can, supporting the endeavors of my children (both involved in the education of our younger generations) and tormenting my wife of 34 years. Also prefer bourbon over scotch, but will drink both, just not at the same time. Discovering craft beers and trying trying hard to get to a consistent golf swing. View all posts by Adam Green

Congrats to your offspring. First Tee is golf for all the other guys not affiliated with clubs, etc.

Thanks Len. We’re awfully proud of him. Not just because of the job he has, but because it is the job he WANTS. He loves teaching kids and says that if he can reach just one through golf each year, he has done something to make this world a better place. He would rather make a better person than a better golfer.

A grandson has been going to the program for 3 summers. VERY worthy; and always nice to have family closer…
