Another one bites the dust…

https://www.pilotonline.com/nation-world/ct-nw-roger-stone-found-guilty-20191115-kexuvyisonaalf2qodocozrury-story.html

Roger is (no real surprise, even apparently to him) found guilty on all counts. The picture of him at the top of the article appears to be a man who has a presidential pardon just waiting for him.

This should pose the question: Who’s next? It could be Rudy or some other enabler.

To quote another member of this blog: tick, tick, tick…

  1. Stone has a big picture of Richard Nixon tattooed on his back. He literally cannot be convicted of anything that would be more bazaar than that, in my opinion. Ha. He is truly a wing-nut. But, he needn’t worry too much, da donald will pardon him more than likely. On a serious note, Stone was the conduit it always seemed between Assange and Trump. JMHO.

    1. It’s a ploy to keep the guys in his cell block from “flogging” him… My guess it’s going to have the opposite effect.

(in the days of wooden ships, sailors would tattoo pictures of Christ on their backs in the hopes that the bosun would hold back a bit on the lash)

  2. Rudy, Rudy, Rudy… (not to be confused with a certain Norte Dame player).

His two crooked pals who set up a phony company to shovel a few hundred big ones as illegal campaign “contributions” will sing like Magpies, as in Heckle and Jeckle style.

The list of fraudsters, tax cheats, con men, unregistered foreign lobbyists, bag men, expense account cheats, liars and collection plate thieves that have been regurgitated from the regime is probably some kind of record.

        1. Always appreciated. Actually, he never said it, but he did say, “Susan, Susan, Susan…” in “Bringing Up Baby,” an absolutely hysterical madcap. It could easily be remade today and be a top draw.

  3. Roger called Trump and asked, “Donald, do you know any good lawyers?”
“Good lawyers? No. But I know where you can find my lawyers.”

He may have set out to drain the swamp, but to date he has managed to clean up the ABA a little.

    1. In law school, to teach the power of “perspective” they have mock trials where they have students take both sides of a case.

If it was Obama who had committed all these crimes and not trump I wonder where the opinions on this forum would fall?

Personally, I think ANY President who committed these transgressions should be removed from office.
