Was the human body capable of anything more?
Evidently. The current record for a single mile is 3:43.
And Kipchoge ran 26 consecutive miles at 4:34 per mile. About the same pace as rush hour on I-64 on Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Or any other rush hour for that matter.
Enough diversion. Back to reality.
I try diversions all of the time. Reality keeps crashing the party.
