Uranium One again?
It was a Canadian Company that owned the US mine. It was bought by a Russian Company. The mined uranium cannot leave the US. Hillary was one of 8 department heads, including DOD, that had to sign off on the sale.
McCarthy conveniently left all that out.

RE: “McCarthy conveniently left all that out.”
None of that is relevant to McCarthy’s recitation of the facts, the most important of which is: “The transaction — specifically, the sale of a company called Uranium One — was approved even though the Justice Department had an active racketeering investigation against Rosatom’s U.S. subsidiary, and even though the U.S. does not produce enough uranium to meet our own energy production needs.”
As far as allowing exports of uranium, you should be aware of this item The Hill published in 2017:
https://thehill.com/policy/national-security/358339-uranium-one-deal-led-to-some-exports-to-europe-memos-show
Here’s the money quote: “NRC memos reviewed by The Hill show that it did approve the shipment of yellowcake uranium — the raw material used to make nuclear fuel and weapons — from the Russian-owned mines in the United States to Canada in 2012 through a third party. Later, the Obama administration approved some of that uranium going all the way to Europe, government documents show.”

We have worked closely with the Russians on many fronts for decades. That cooperation has continued in spite of the state of the relationship at any particular moment. One very obvious example has been the continuing co-operation vis a vis the International Space Station. The fact of such past co-operation has NOTHING to do with justifying the criminal involvement of the Trump campaign with Russian intelligence agencies aimed at putting Trump in the White House.
As for ANYONE bringing up Uranium One again, that is beyond laughable. Fox News – yes Fox News – had the last word on that about two years ago . . .
