Roger Stone arrested in pre-dawn FBI photo-op

Stone has said he was expecting to be charged for weeks, so really, what was the point of a pre-dawn raid with body armor and night vision goggles and drawn weapons?

He has had weeks to get rid of anything incriminating and wasn’t going to shoot it out with the SWAT team to avoid arrest.

This is not law enforcement, it is law enforcement theater.

    That’s what it looks like to me, too. The question is how to interpret the fanfare. Mueller appears to be doing his best to exonerate the president.
