I think its fascinating that physiognomy — once dismissed by the smart set — is making a comeback as science.
I’m also intrigued by the notion that high IQ people use stereotypes in their thinking more than low IQ people do. This is exactly opposite from what I would have guessed.

Of course, it could be that smart people stereotype and stupid people copy smart people without understanding why. That would mean, at the extreme, that racism is smart.
But that would also mean that racism doesn’t really exist. It is just a type of stereotypical thinking that smart people are smart enough to handle without actually being mean about it.
Jesse Lee Peterson makes a similar claim when he says there is no such thing as racism, there is just love and hate.
