Twitter Files Part 1 explanation

An explanation of the “nothing-burger” that is hunter Biden’s laptop.

It just HAS to be true, that the Biden clan is a “crime family”. Otherwise, the past 7 years have been for naught.

  1. There is more than one issue here.

First, the Laptop, properly examined and linked to parallel sources of information may reveal as little as petty corruption by the President and his family, or as much as a President compromised by Ukraine or China because of what they might know that Biden dares not have known. Or maybe not, but it must be investigated seriously, not dismissed by the partisan press.

But I think more importantly, why the FBI, the DNC and Tech companies(not just Twitter) were so intent on suppressing it.

Representative government cannot function if the voters are deceived and it is quite clear that elements of our government and the Democratic party went to dangerous extremes to do just that.

That’s hardly a nothingburger, as much as you might wish it were so.

Examine why the GOP was so adamant about suppressing an investigation into 1/6. That was a heck of a lot more important than embarrassing photos.

You were upset about the FBI looking into Trump’s vary strong Russian connections. You dismissed Trump family special deals with China that included dropping sanctions in return for 1/2 billion investments.

True, Hunter traded on his family connections to make money.
I hate to say it, but that is going to be true for every child born on third base. Is it right? Of course not. But in any society where money speaks louder than ethics, there we are.

    1. The difference is that everything suspected about Trump was examined by the FBI and the press, to the point of printing speculation as fact.

But in the case of the links between Biden and his son’s business associates, the FBI and the press chose to look away and worse, to defraud the voters to influence 2 elections.

      1. Are you trying to legitimize the Big Lie again?

Biden didn’t win as much as Trump lost. He brought every bit of the focus on his scandals all by his lonesome. He relished the spotlight so much it mattered little that he was screwing himself and the entire Republic party.

        1. I’m trying to get you to understand that Trump is irrelevant to the issue.

Trump did not place Biden in a position to be compromised by Ukraine and China, Biden did that himself.

Trump did not direct the Deep State and DNC to censor speech by proxy, that is a totally Democrat operation.

Those are wrong, and remain wrong no matter what Trump did or did not do.

      2. Doggone, is it that hard to remember that the DOJ was Trump’s? You keep saying the Deep State buried it. Well, if the president of the United States couldn’t or wouldn’t demand it prioritized, then that is a failure of administration or, the more likely, purposeful because there is nothing there. You can believe that if the president, as in Trump, wanted DOJ to plaster the laptop all over the evening news, they’d do it. Unlike Garland, who is cautious and meticulous regarding commingling too much with the White House.

Why is there no “defraud the voters” accusation for FOX, Murdoch with NewsCorp, Sinclair, and the National Enquirer by distorting and burying stories?

  3. Hunter’s laptop obviously is an embarrassment to Democrats. It should be. Thanks to Hunter and “the Big Guy” Democrats now are the party of dope and dick pics.

But the embarrassment of this particular forever stain is not the most important thing to know about the laptop. Far more important is the now established fact that a conspiracy involving a social media company, a political party and government officials defrauded the American public to influence an election.

Embarrassed liberals may want to deny the significance of Hunter’s laptop by claiming that dick pics are the only issue, but that’s a delusion and a lie.

Abd the GOP is the party of racism, anti-Semitism, authoritarianism, and featly to a man and not the country.

I’ll take a little weed and pictures of a big Johnson before the GOP’s “platform”.

  4. “ Democrats now are the party of dope and dick pics.”

At least Democrats have a platform😇.

This is hardly a “forever stain”, but just a tempest in the proverbial teapot as an effort to distract from the right wing loonies in the GOP. The de facto leader of the Republicans has caused losses and headaches for conservatives. He helped split tickets in AZ and GA so they lost seats they should have won in the House and lost control of the Senate.

So go for the scandal when governance and policy are empty cans. Meanwhile productivity is up, wages are up, employment gains are robust, gas is down and inflation is easing.

Time to unleash the “secret weapon”: “Richard” (civility, don’t you know) pix of a president’s son. I read that someone in the GOP read a typo congratulating Biden on his recent “erection” and jumped on that like a puppy on a June Bug.

    Next plank, Jewish space lasers.

Personally, I think there will be a memorial service for the GOP in the not to distant future.

You must be thinking of Teapot Dome, a Republican scandal that is still remembered 100 years later.

As I said, it is now an “established fact that a conspiracy involving a social media company, a political party and government officials defrauded the American public to influence an election.”

Trump and the Republicans are irrelevant to this.

      1. It is an established fact that there was a conspiracy between Murdoch and Trump for years. MSM so in bed with Trump that its stars were on the campaign stages with him.

This supposed “scandal” regarding Twitter is not even close to the same. Just another “hair on fire” attempt to distract from the mess the GOP is in with racism, anti-Semitism, abortion, Trump losses in elections, gangs.

          1. The joke is on you. The FEC cleared Twitter of any kind of conspiracy concerning the Biden laptop issue. An FEC with Republican members saying that there is no thee there.

          2. It is now when FOX is getting multi-billion dollar suits because of carrying the water for Trump for a decade. They carried it too far when they slandered voting machine companies regarding complicity in election fraud.

That is the Dominion Vote Machine case seeking 1.6 billion in damages, of course. Smartmatic is also suing, but for 2.7 billion.

    Only in your imagination.

With all due respect, you constantly display the lightest of lightweight partisan thinking. All you actually offer is name-calling and false equivalencies. That is your approach on both President Biden and President Zelenskyy. Trump runs a now PROVEN criminal organization so Biden MUST be a criminal too. Putin is a murderous fascist thug so MUST Zelenskyy be. Never mind the evidence or the lack thereof – wash, rinse, repeat. The same worn out baloney.

You demonstrate no “due respect” with such a comment. In fact, your entire comment is dishonest.

First, you crop the quote you are criticizing, distorting its meaning. Then you deny the assertion of the quote, but without substantiating your claim. Finally, you resort to slanderous generalities of a personal nature.

“With all due respect” means that you are giving all the respect that is due. In this case, very little. For the reasons provided.

I have not distorted Tabor’s silly claim or modified it dishonestly. I put a portion of it at the top as I frequently do for clarity when threads get long.

And I have accurately described the lightweight nature of the rhetoric constantly employed against Biden and Zelenskyy. Name-calling, slanders, false equivalencies are all very lightweight. IMHO.

Incivility? Like calling other posters “stupid?” LOL!

Here is some advice. If you don’t like the heat, stay out of the kitchen. If you, or Tabor, or anyone else decides to post what I believe to be dishonest nonsense I will call it exactly that and I really don’t care if someone’s feelings are hurt when I do. Sometimes the “marketplace of ideas” can be very unkind to fools. IMHO of course.

  6. Can’t link to the article in The Daily Beast, but it states that the FEC cleared the Twitter thing a year ago. The FEC with GOP members doing their part to put to bed the Biden Crime Family narrative.
