It doesn’t happen often, but when she’s right I’ll say so.
Now, on to Thorium.
Some environmentalists have a fundamental problem when they want greener energy sources but are against nuclear power for environmental reasons. There is no free lunch. Any solution involves costs and risks. I agree with Luria and anybody else – even you – who thinks that nuclear power can play an important role in future energy policy.
Find the most remote and god-foresaken location, build multiple plants there to a standard design, dig a deep hole for the waste and start feeding electricity to the grid.
