We can be thankful, I suppose, that the cicadas eaten at restaurants in Loudoun County meet government specifications. No word on the actual criteria, or whether unapproved cicadas had caused harm to anyone. One only wishes that an “Eat American” solution could have been found.

I was under the impression that Brood X was 100% American. I guess they are available in the Mid-East?

Nope. Cicadas are my food’s food. Process them through a chicken or turkey into eggs, legs breasts and wings and I’ll eat them that way.
I don’t eat worms either, I eat fish.
