Goodbye to 2020

I have been trying to find something positive in 2020, but the best I can come up with are Winston Churchill’s comments on his service in the Boer War.

“There are few things in life so exhilarating as having been fired upon without effect.”

Churchill was a source of great quotes. A remarkable man. And like many giants in history, a complicated one.

    Not trying to be mean spirited, but I immediately thought of those whom the bullet didn’t miss.
    
    I’m thankful as well for my health, hell maybe it’s survivor’s guilt on my part that spurred my reaction.
