At Least Two of Gretchen Whitmer’s Kidnapping Conspirators Appear to Be Anti-Trump Anarchists

Source: PJ Media.

Here’s a puzzle. Are anarchists right-wing or left-wing, politically speaking?

I would argue that it is logically impossible for an anarchist to be a right-winger. I might also argue that it doesn’t matter, that knowing how many angles dance on the head of a pin actually matters more.

Still, the puzzle arises from the impulse to cast blame on the evil-doers who allegedly plotted to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. I want to know whether the evil-doers belong to my side, or the other.

For me it’s the other.

  1. Is it against the rules of this forum to post links to sites like this one? Do we really need lies and disinformation from outside sources such as what they had to say about The Proud Boys. We have enough of that of our own. If The Atlantic – one of America’s oldest and most respected journals – is under threat of being banned, why would one like PJ Media be allowed. Just wondering.

But whatever nuttiness anyone digs up about these THIRTEEN gun-toting pinheads there is little doubt that they were answering the call of Dear Leader to #LIBERATE Michigan! But hey, let the whining begin. It is pretty clear that the FBI was over these gun lovers.

Why would it be against the rules?

Your question is answered by the fact The Atlantic is not banned.

I would offer a further observation: The significance of a source article at the head of a post is to comment on it. If you are the poster what matters is what YOU have to say, not what the article says.

Personally, I don’t regard any source as automatically being closer to Truth than some other source. Thus, if you post an article and want it to be taken seriously, the burden is on you to explain why or how.

This is what Paul posted concerning the Atlantic. His comment was legitimate in that the moderator threatened to block posts from The Atlantic.

…”I don’t regard any source as automatically being closer to Truth than some other source”

I throw the BS flag in that based on your posting history. But, it’s your game. Your rules. And only those apply to the rest of us.

      1. Yes. Of course, I do. It is a reputable news organization. PJ Media is not.
It presents the same facts without wrapping them in laughable lies.

As I said earlier, whatever nuttiness anyone digs up about these THIRTEEN gun-toting pinheads there is little doubt that they were answering the call of Dear Leader to #LIBERATE Michigan!

        1. It is every bit as reasonable to lay the attacks on, and murders of, policemen at Biden’s and Harris’s feet as it is to blame trump for the actions of some lunatics you claim he has somehow emboldened.

You keep claiming that the BLM protestors are mostly peaceful, but thousands of those protestors across the country have been arrested for acts of violence(though few will ultimately be prosecuted) yet you want to smear 80 million gun owners because of the plotting by 13 fanatics.

I said nothing about 80 million gun owners. I am one of them.
These fellows are “gun-toting” and they are “pinheads.” Get over it.

If Biden had encouraged violence, used violent rhetoric at rallies, offered to pay legal bills for thugs, invited left-wing militias to ‘stand by”, suggested Second Amendment solutions for judges not liked, etc. etc. then your first statement would have some merit. Here in reality, it has very little.

Trump incites violence on a daily basis. He may not say get a gun and kill someone. He doesn’t have to. If he says someone is an “enemy of the people.” or a “Marxist” or a “baby killer” etc. etc. those are incitements to violence.

Last year 42 people were murdered for political reasons. 38 of them were murdered by right wing fanatics. That simply confirms the obvious truth. Right wingers run around in the woods playing army man. Left wingers don’t.

      2. RE: “Would you prefer this one?”

Not me. Newsweek doesn’t mention that the videos were discovered by a Reddit user who did a little citizen journalism to find them. The omission is self-serving, giving the impression that Newsweek did the legwork by finding them on Twitter.

Uh, because it spreads lies. Not just a mistake now and then – that can happen to anybody – but it is always doing it. This brief article, for example, is full of them.

Trump DOES stir up hatred for Governor Whitmer.
Proud Boys is not just some “right leaning group.” They are thugs.
Trump DID give them instructions – “Stand By”
That the FBI destroyed the social media footprint of the conspirators is a laughable calumny.
