The commentary at the link presents an interesting perspective on current events. Just think for a moment where we are today compared to where we were in 2016:
- Thanks to the second OIG report, it is no longer necessary to prove that the Steele dossier was anything other than a hot mess of bad information that should never have been used to get warrants to permit spying on U.S. citizens.
- Thanks to the Mueller investigation, it is no longer necessary to prove that Trump campaign collusion with Russians was anything other than a pure hoax.
- Thanks to the impeachment, it is no long necessary to prove that the president’s worst enemies have been anything other than lying, incompetent, seditionaries.
These things are all well established and widely known. We can at last, now, begin to think in terms of next steps. The timing is perfect, with a presidential election coming up.
