    1. I’d almost forgotten the “Suit” scandal, but that was back when I mistakenly still believed the GOP had a conscious.

Listening to the GOP Senators lie to the American people and stand beside the demented fool serving as President is painful….

  1. RE: “Overwhelm the nation with bad behavior and scandals. A novel approach to keep us distracted, confused and duped.”

More baseless slander. You might notice that your own link attributes the lack of attention to Trump’s so-called scandals to several probable causes, not just Trump himself. You might also note that since the writer found his examples through Google, all were actually reported in the media. As you yourself might argue, this just shows that the Fourth Estate is operating as it should.

My own take is that lack of attention to Trump’s so-called scandals represents a media failure of the kind we are all familiar with. If the big outlets were not so busy pushing major hoaxes like Russian collusion or impeachment, these other matters would get more coverage. In that case, the potential for turning them into conspiracy theories, as you do, would be diminished.

      1. RE: “He has bragged to Leslie Stahl that he wants Americans so confused that they won’t know what or who to believe.”

No, he hasn’t. Stahl attributed a statement to Trump which we know only in her paraphrase. She said he said (literally), “You know why I do it? I do it to discredit you all and demean you all so that when you write negative stories about me no one will believe you.”

Even giving Stahl the benefit of the doubt, her paraphrase does not convey the idea you claim it does. It does not say that Trump wants Americans to be confused. It says that Trump wants Americans to be skeptical of negative stories about him.

YOU are attempting to tell a negative story about Trump, and Americans should decidedly be skeptical of it.

        1. I believe you are confused. (It seems to be working, by golly.)

          “…no one will believe you.”

As in “…NO ONE will believe you”.

That is not asking for skepticism. That is trying to confuse and obfuscate all his fellow Americans.

And worse yet, it is trying to force Americans to ONLY believe Trump.

As Ann Landers used to say: “Wake up and smell the coffee.”

No. As in no one will believe YOU. A sentifment that inherently invites skepticism, and rightly so.

You should take Ann Landers’ advice yourself.

Your hero is con man and a huckster. If you believe anything he says there are now thousands of decent, patriotic Americans that you have to disbelieve. Not one or two. Thousands. This fellow got it right four years ago . . .

            No, there aren’t.

Doesn’t matter. I don’t care what John Bolton thinks.

Everything is a major breaking story for the anti-Trump crowd, until it isn’t. From what I can tell, this one doesn’t have much substance, but we’ll see how it plays out.

Not much substance? The then National Security Advisor – a DIRECT report of the President – confirms that the factual basis for an Article of Impeachment is the truth and that is not of much substance?

Well, if that is your opinion, welcome to it. But, please do not claim to have anything approaching an open mind on the subject.

  2. Didn’t say they weren’t reported, it is that they ran into one fiasco after another and there are only so much ink, personnel and investigators. Never mind the attention span of the citizens. This is as opposed to the amount of time and money “investigating” the Benghazi tragedy. Not much else going on worth looking at so the GOP went batshit crazy over that. Was it 7 or 8 hearings? And the conclusion. Zip.

We might call it scandal triage as it relates nicely to a major disaster when hospitals get overwhelmed.

But that is part and parcel of his admitted agenda to keep his own fellow countrymen, supporters and opponents alike, so confused they won’t know what to believe. Nice person for our national leader, eh?

You might want to address your hero about slander, BTW. His tweets and rallies are packed with scatological and other physical insults while calling people liars, traitors, our enemies and human scum. And just among friends, that is truly projecting.

I follow his tweets and watch some of the rallies. Your statement doesn’t ring true with me. So, just among friends, don’t accuse me of projecting.

      1. Actually, I was accusing Trump of projecting. Despite our differences in the political landscape I would not accuse you of thinking like Trump. That is the ultimate insult.

Are you saying he never called people silly, scatalogical names or his GOP critics human scum? Or call Democrats that didn’t applaud traitors.

        That is hard to believe.

No. I am saying your statement that “His tweets and rallies are packed with scatological and other physical insults while calling people liars, traitors, our enemies and human scum” doesn’t match my experience.

You paint an exaggerated picture and apparently want to pretend it represents reality.
