Perhaps the vampires running the child concentration camps will offer some sort of two-for-one deal on internment camps for citizens of Iranian background. Anything to cut overhead, right?   2. We all know this is going to happen. American citizenship is evolving to a type of caste system. If you don’t look Northern European it will “papers please”.

    These folks who were detained were born in the USA and the parents were naturalized citizens. The current regime is trying to negate the value of citizenship based on ethnic background. Like Trump questioned the quality of judges whose last names sounded Hispanic even though the were born here.

    We are exceptional. A country founded by, built by and fought for by immigrants should not act like we all sprung from the ground one magical time nurtured by Kansas soil.

    Let’s not repeat the human rights disaster of Japanese internment in WW2. That was pure racist fear that punished some of our most loyal Americans. We know better now.

    Or at least I thought we did.

    1. The terrorists who shot up San Bernadino a few years ago were also U.S. citizens. It isn’t smart to assume that citizenship is some sort of guarantee of loyalty.

        Most of the terrorist attacks are good, old Americans shooting Mexicans, gays, Jews, anyone with a head covering other than a 10 gallon hat.

        A few exceptions including the Saudi Air Force pilot who was not screened like a refugee fleeing for his life. But Saudis are a protected ethnic group because they have oil and they fed Trump Quarter Pounders on gold plates.

        When was the last Iranian national to make a terrorist attack in the US?

With a few exceptions (San Bernardino, 1 citizen and one ISIS convert Sunni nutjob both Pakistani, The Fort Hood of Palestinian extraction, and our “good ally’s” pilot from Saudi land), who has been killing us here and there and everywhere? Try the good ‘ole boys wiping out blacks, Jews, Mexicans, Muslims and assorted others that might not like line dancing.

      And have Iranians done any of the bad stuff in the US? Ever?

      I think the political ninnies are sitting in the Oval Office with the Ninny-in-Chief and his tweet-o-phone.
